Markus 750 1080i PVR, Hard Drive Media Recorder Player with Network,HDMI

Doesnt work in North America.

I thought I was buying a High Definition PVR for use with my TV-media center.This recorder has a space for a hard drive but no storage media that I could find. It is clearly designed for TV systems in many parts of the world (very impressive) but these do not include North America. I had to adapt the input cable termination (European?) to our regular RF termination to connect it to our cable company (Comcast) to discover this. Scanning produced absolutely no results, so with regret and disappointment I had to return it

Great piece of hardware, Software implementation lacks.Was hoping to use for video conversions from DV and AV to mp4 but this thing doesn't work like that.On top of that it is slow and not very robust.

Like the other reviewer said, I thought that I was buying a HD PVR to hook up to my HD TV receiver but there is no HD inputs and all I get is SD. Technical service was non-existent when I had questions.
