No, Grow cubes are not meant to keep in water, even for germination. It should be soaked in water and kept at dry place where it should allow to drain excess water. It retains 60% water which is sufficient (perfect) for seed germination.

How is the packaging when sent? Oasis cubes break easily. I do not want broken cubes. It should come as one sheet.
