Great Exercise, Quality, and Simplicity
Reviewed many a review from those using Recurves (R) and Traditional Bows (TB). ● considered pros and cons to both ● Teained with both to "build up" •• each State have min #(lbs) requirements ● Rs are like a semiauto while TBs are like lever action ● TB •• a piece of History, though modern material •• great "Gap" and split application Physiologically ● sone have injuries but adding the # in "stacking", maximum pull #s add on ● Age and health limitations •• better ease of pull and hold that overextended and getting injured ● great exercise method and option Historically TB ● known as "Flat Sh○○ters" •• users being the English and French •• the deadliest the Welsh, had 100 yrs advance on everyone Summary ● simplicity ● ease of pull ● smooth release Wife has her #29... I gave it a go and I'm moving up to #40 (I figure of I could higher, just release more arrow, reps). "Slow is fast" --------------------------------- Rec'd my 68"/ #40 very pleased ● retied the leather using hiking style to have places for my support hand... ● upgraded the felt ● sh○t 80 arrows, 5 strings at a time... nice pace •• highly impressed with the LB ••• felt so relaxed ● excited about adding accessories •• love the hands on ••• enjoy 3D targets but am experimenting with targets and training arrows ● I understand the traditional bow •• watch the English-Welshmen Master Bowmen.

Stacks hard
where to start. Bow is well built. Good looking. Ok to shoot. The grip is not very comfortable. The glued leather slipped to the side after about 500 arrows. I tried to love this bow but it is just limited. Arrow shelf is in poor position to grip. This is a durable bow that stacks hard past 29 inches. Limited by is core materials. OK for beginners. Not Recommend for longer draw lengths. 29 plus.

Wrong item
Really disappointing. Waited to buy this specific bow and it comes in as a right handed bow when I ordered a left handed bow. Would have loved to exchange it and get the right size. Seems like a reasonably nice bow and I’d been waiting for quite some while.

Very good basic target shooting/hunting bow
I have always built wood self-bows for general shooting and hunting but decided I wanted a modern fiberglass laminated bow. From my understanding, this is the only “sweet spot” longbow that doesn’t cost a lot but functions as well as any other longbow. I ordered the 60 pound model, and it pulls exactly 60 pounds on the scale. It appears very durable. It is VERY light weight. The handle wrap is stable. The string is solid built with good serving. The arrow speed wasn’t super impressive, but it wasn’t slow at all. Most of my self bows shoot the same speed. I have been hunting and shooting bows for over 15 years and I can tell you that this bow is hunting worthy. This bow is worth the buy if you want to get your first longbow and not have to pay $400 plus dollars for it. Make sure to go to your archery shop or order a bow-square to get your nock point on your string. You’ll need that for consistency for every shot.

Beautiful bow
Much steeper learning curve than a recurve. That being said, after a year and a half or so or shooting (inconsistantly), I feel confident enough to take this on a hunting trip. Only recently replaced the bow string too. Get a new shelf.

Good shooting longbow
Great bow. Shoots straight, no limb twists. Although the 50 lb draw I ordered and recieved sure fells like a 55lb draw.. havent put a scale on it, but have shot long enough to know 5lb differences

Oops, wrong-handed.
The bow arrived on time an well-packaged, but was a left handed instead of right handed. The description and pictures confused me. No right had bows available at the time so I ordered a PSE Sequoia instead. The handle of this bow fit my grip better anyway.
