I really like this molasses bread, especially the raisin variety.

Yummy bread.

First things first, it's very sweet. Almost cake sweet. If you don't like the taste of molasses, don't bother with this. I'm not from New England, so I have minimal experience with it. Trying new methods out but so far haven't had much luck toasting it. Tends to caramelize more than toast. That being said, there are positives to this product. After giving it a chance, the flavor started to grow on me. It's pretty decent with butter. It's bread with a shelf life, so preppers may like that. Seems like it would be good for camping. Other reviews have said as much. Haven't tried yet but it's often paired with baked beans, which I'm trying soon. In any case, not a terrible product. It's an acquired taste, but one that I would say is worth acquiring

This was always a childhood favorite, nostalgic and a great shelf stable product. I love the fact that the quality is consistent and it was a good value

This stuff is A M A Z I N G!!! You can eat it with almost anything savory and some things sweet. If you like molasses you will love B&M brown bread. I love eating it with baked beans and clam chowder. It really brings out the flavors of whatever you serve it with. Open the lid enough for steam to rise from the can, pop it into a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes and warm the bread up. Then, slice it up, slather it with butter, and enjoy with your favorite soup or baked beans. Also works with home made chili too. The best part is the bread will last for a long time on the shelf (if you can resist eating it all up) so you'll have it for an emergency or for when company comes. Great warm or straight out of the can!

The taste isn’t bad actually. It’s tastes and has the texture of a cross between Outback’s brown bread and a somewhat sweet bran muffin. It’ll certainly do in a pinch and you won’t mind eating it. The problem is that I received my 12 pack a couple days ago and noticed that they all expire in 9 months! I think it’s safe to say that the Vast majority or people buying this product in a 12 pack is that they’re storing it for longevity and or emergency use which is supposed to be a few years. I’m guessing I was sent “old stock” that has been sitting on a shelf a couple years which isn’t good. I emailed B&M about my concern and asked how long past the best by date was the product still edible and the response didn’t even Attempt to answer my questions or concerns. The take away is that the product tastes good and could be useful for a long term storage solution but you’ll probably receive 1 to 2 year old product and B&M customer service is sub par 🤷🏻‍♂️
