There is no ink transfer from this. After several failed attempts (and one irritated doggo), I tried with my own thumb print. As hard as I could press on the pad, as hard as I could press on the paper. Only a faint smudge transferred. You wouldn’t know it was a thumb print if you weren’t told. Now imagine having to push down your pet or baby’s precious foot with that level of pressure. This product is trash.

I wanted to get this to have my fur baby’s paw tattooed on me.. but the ink pad wasn’t so inky. I pushed down on his paw and pushed it down on the paper as well and this is all I got😕 a faded paw print. Thought it’d look more how it’s advertised. Maybe I just got a bad ink pad. ? I will be returning and hopefully find an ink pad that is still safe for pets and isn’t so dry.

Better for smaller dogs. I was able to use it on a 50lb dog, but I wanted a larger pad. For it to work, you need to wash dogs paw first. Test it a couple of times before you go for it on your project. It was easy to wipe off. The packaging was cheap, so I’m storing it in the box it came in.

I used this to obtain my Chinese Crested's paw print so print store could "sign" the photos of her and the nursing home patients we visit, as a therapy dog team. This was a terrific holiday gift for the people we have both come to love.

I got this bc my puppy was born sick, and was getting sicker daily. I knew his time was close, and I wanted his paw print. The day this came was the day he crossed the rainbow bridge. I had the vet try to get his paw after, and even they could not get a nice dark print. They were all faint. He left is print on my arm as he went to sleep though, and I am getting that tattooed on me.

This just didn’t work. I don’t know if the ink pad I received was dry or if that’s how they all are, but I pressed my cat’s paw down as hard as I could without hurting him and only got the faintest print. I wanted this so I could get a tattoo of his paw, but there’s no way it would work with how faint the print is.

Not a secure lid, and the ink pad really doesn't have much ink on it. Not even the slightest bit damp to the touch. I had to rub my finger all over it just to get enough ink to do a half decent fingerprint. I don't think my cat will put up with that much fuss.

It's not bad for the money. It cleans off easy enough if you wipe it with a wet paper towel. As you can see the more prints you do with the same paw the easier it is. We trimmed some fur of jjs paw to help get a clearer print. The pad is small but just move it on the paw. Bear in mind tho JJ is an old dog and stays still when he's sleeping so it's easy to get him to be patient. With a younger wilder dog this pad would not work

Not great for clear paw prints. Ink seems dry. The first attempt was the bottom print, the second attempt a really pushed his paw into the ink pad and still didnt get enough on the paw.

Pad was too small for a Labrador's paw, but big enough for the other dogs I tried it with. It was not super easy to get off, I suggest to do it in the kitchen or garden, away from carpets. It dries very quickly, so you need to press on the pad and immediately on paper or it won't work. If you have a dog who doesn't like their paws touched, it will be hard to get a decent print. I only managed one good print with 4 dogs

Good once you get your dog to put some on his paws but don’t underestimate how hard it is to get a perfect paw print!

Considering my cat hates nearly everything she let me have a go and although it did take a couple attempts to get the perfect print I'm over the moon at having someone I can keep of my Peanut forever
