Works perfectly to fix the ring floodlight camera. Pictures just as clear if not more clear than the original lens. I used an oil drain plug o-ring from my 08 Saab 9-3 as the seal for it and it fits like it’s meant for it, included pic and part number in case anyone else wants this as a super quick and easy fix.

I purchased this replacement lens for our first generation Ring floodlight camera. This was a perfect replacement for the old blurry camera lens and it was easy to install. The only thing was the screw-in base was a bit longer than then original so I put 3 O-rings on it to take up that extra length. At first the new lens was blurry so I unscrewed/loosened it until the images became sharp and clear. Overall I am highly satisfied and recommend this replacement lenses as a replacement for the First generation Ring floodlight camera.

4 stars due to it not fitting exactly right. But I did buy it for a ring camera and it beat spending 200.00. Once u get it started just start screwing it in slowly while watching your live feed and you’ll find the spot where it’s focused, It is very clear once you find the sweet spot. I put 2 o-rings on the thread side and thread lock to keep it where I needed it. If I get another 10 years out of this one I’ll be happy.

I bought this cam to replace a cloudy ring floodlight cam. The price was great and a fourth of the cost for a new ring! It screwed right in and fit perfectly. The view is so clear once you get it fully inserted.

I just replaced the camera lens on my ring spotlight. Removing the old lens proved very difficult. I drilled a hole in my old lens then tried a “tap out” bit to unscrew it. No luck. I resorted to using a small flathead screwdriver which allowed me to remove the lens. The spotlight camera remained in place and was not taken down. Perhaps this made the operation more difficult. I don’t know. Like has been said before this new lens is longer than the old lens. I wrapped Teflon tape on the new lens and was able to “fine tune” the image. I then made a water tight seal using silicone. Now, this new lens produces a sharper and better image than the original lens that came on the spotlight camera. It sees farther out and has a wider field of view. The original camera lens was made out of plastic and this new lens has a metal housing. This new lens works perfect in the ring spotlight camera. I believe this Sonew lens is priced right, producing a clear picture. Removal of the original ring spotlight camera lens was difficult but the addition of this new lens made the work worth the effort. I highly recommend this lens to all those who are thinking of replacing the old spotlight lens.

What a gem of a find! I was about to purchase a new Ring flood light cam, with a little bit of effort and patience I was able to to replace the lens with this. So much better and the viewing quality seems superior to the oem! A++

Fits the Ring floodlight camera lens perfectly. The Ring camera lens became cloudy. Bought this product as a replacement lens based on the other reviews. Removed the existing lens from the Ring camera using a small screw driver. The top portion of the lens popped up and the rest of the lens plastic was removed by unscrewing it. No need to use a drill bit. Installed the new lens. The lens has to be adjusted to set the focus. Filled the gap with silicone. I would be happy if this new lens lasts for at least 5 years.
