Can you pierce upper ear cartilage with these?

It may work for others but DO NOT use this to pierce cartilage. It uses force to get the earrings through. The only time you use a piercing gun is on the soft parts of the lobes. If you try using this on your cartilage you could risk shattering your cartilage, which isn't good at all.

What Is the gauge size of the earring?

According to the seller, which seems to be confirmed by re-measuring the piercing stud with my ear stud gauge, the size is 1mm which is 18 gauge.
