I am updating a previous poor review of this cable. After about 3 weeks, my monitor stopped working. After some troubleshooting, it looked like it was the cable. HOWEVER, after getting a new cable, the problem persisted and it turned out to be a software issue on the PC (still do not know what changed to make it stop working). Two things came out of this: 1) The cable is a good cable. 2) The company stepped in and offered to apply for a full refund (without me contacting them). I five them high marks!

Updated review (1->4 stars!) I assumed this cable had an issue as it made the screen look extremely white, like contrast too high. The picture was nowhere near as good as my display port cable plugged into same PC + monitor. I've since found out that if you use Intel UHD 630 embedded graphics, like I was, and you use a DP->HDMI adapter with the 630, you can get this issue, i.e. its not the cable actually. The trick to get the contrast issue sorted was to set the video to, get this, 59.94hz exactly, and not 60hz. Then the RGB range/contrast over HDMI looked identical to the DP cable. So I am keeping this cable now and changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars as it does the job, feels decent quality and is a good length for the money. My only concern is it feels hotter than my other DP->HDMI adapter. Original review below: Cable felt decent quality on arrival. However, while I get a picture (from HP PC display port to LG monitor HDMI input), the contrast is crazy altered - the whole picture looks bleached and frankly terrible compared what its meant to be. There's something wrong with this cable and I shall be returning it.

I want to attach my TV to my PC, so I bought a 4K DisplayPort to HDMI cable, which is working perfectly.

I wanted to connect my pc to my tv which only has hdmi ports. The only hdmi on my pc is connected to my virtual reality headset. I couldn’t get the tv to pick up any signal from this lead, however when I used a monitor it was fantastic. The problem is I don’t want a monitor in my living room. The long and short of it is whilst this cable didn’t work for me it was due to my tv not this cable. A note for anyone who may have a similar issue, my solution was a display port to VGA adapter connected to the VGA port in the tv.

I upgraded my desk recently, and mounted my monitors on the wall, and my original cables no longer reached my rig, so I needed longer ones. These seemed to be the only 3m length ones with quite a high overall rating. Ideally I'd have liked 2.5m ones but it's either 1m, 1.8m or 3m lengths. On quality side of things, they're really high quality build and materials. The braided cable really adds a nice aesthetic too, rather than having just black plastic wires popping out the back of your setup. The picture quality on these is great, and really stable. The connectors themselves have a nice snug fit, whereas some in the past I've had have felt a little loose. These are definitely worth the buy.
