What about using laptop hard in desktop computer with this?

Laptop HDDs use the same SATA connections as a Desktop HDD. So no converter cables is needed. I have two desktop PC's using laptop HDD's in them now and no converter cable is needed. Same connections on a 2.5" HDD as a 3.5" HDD.
