Helps getting to sleep, this is my second bottle of 90, I don't use it every night, and I found a professional article in my doctor's office that mentioned than 5mg is the most you should take.

This is the only melatonin that I use I've been using it for years I use 20 mg a night for insomnia and sleeping difficulties I chew them as well so they will take effect I would suggest if you are new to it 2 take a couple of hours before bedtime otherwise you may be groggy in the morning. Plus I would also recommend that you take the smallest amount and work your way up. Just talk to your doctor to make sure that you can take melatonin . I've not had any problems with this melatonin brand. You have to look at the labels to see what it has in it. often times melatonin products have other things in it besides melatonin like vitamin B for example as it acts as a precursor however it can also keep you awake I've heard my friends talked about having nightmares with melatonin and I have never had that problem and this is the most comfortable of the melatonins that I've tried so I have been using this brand for years. And yes I know 20 mg is a lot but that's what works. There are no studies about taking high levels of melatonin. And I don't have to take sleep medications that have all kinds of side effects. I still have sleep problems but I wouldn't get any sleep if I didn't take melatonin. So I'm sticking with naturemaid brand.

Been a big fan of Nature Made supplements for at least 20 years. This brand of the 5 mg Melatonin does help me to get to sleep within 15 to 20 minutes, but doesn’t keep me to sleep for more than maybe four hours at a time. Wish it kept me to sleep until my alarm went off, which is after about 7 hours. Maybe I need to take 10 mg at a time. I may experiment with that.

Could not find the 5 mg at local stores. Also the 90 count saves money over the 30 count bottles
