HUAWEI P30 lite (NEW EDITION)

My Huawei P20 Lite got dropped and the screen rather mangled. So, I decided to upgrade - and wow, what a difference! I am so pleased with this purchase. It has plenty of memory, a good display and the rear 'triple' camera is absolutely fantastic. The P30 Lite is surely comparable with other mobiles costing much more. At £182, this must be considered a bit of a bargain. Its a "factory" SIM Free UK device so there are no nasty and annoying telecom logos or additional 'bloatware'. The power adapter has the correct UK 3-plug and the screen comes ready fitted with a screen protector (albeit not tempered glass). I wish all manufacturers would do that! The mobile auto updated to EMUI (Android) 10 on first power up. I then used Huawei Phone Clone to move data from the old to this new mobile. It did a reasonable job though about 20% of the APPs didn't copy (probably due to the change in Android version). So, it took about an hour to manually download and install the missing APPs. The good news was that device set up (eg. WiFi settings, contacts, screen layout) did copy across. I use a slim case and a wireless charging card. Wireless charging works fine and is reasonably quick. I also added a 128gb micro SD card - so I have plenty of space. I don't play many games on a mobile but everything I have tried works smoothly and well. Video playback is excellent. I have a Huawei Matebook D 14 2020 laptop so I am able to use 'Huawei Share' to connect to and control this mobile. Its great when working at home. If I wanted to be harsh, I could say that battery life could be a tad better. That said, it easily lasts a day and has improved after a couple of full charges - I just bung the mobile on my wireless charger when I go to bed. Overall, I am very chuffed and rather pleased....

This phone is Ace. I've had it a Couple of weeks now. And everything works flawlessly. The screen is big, clear, image and video quality is excellent. It comes equipped with 3 cameras the best being 48 mega pix which can take stunning photos and video. The user interface is fluid and has no lag. All apps load and open very fast. I have just updated to android 10. It uses 4GB of storage and took about 20 mins to download and install with fibre broadband. The update is worthwhile. It has enhanced many features including security and to many others to list. This version has 128gb of storage and I have just bought a 128gb sd card for further space. You can increase this to 500 GB I believe. So plenty of room for your media, music, video etc. All in all I'm very pleased I bought this phone and would not hesitate to buy another when this one has had its day. And also recommend it to anyone who's debating this option. Trust me you will not regret it. 5 ***** phone.

Nicely designed phone I believe this replaces the P20 PRO as the features and spec are very similar but better and nicer to hold. Decent enough and priced very well. If your a fan of android then this is for you. If your looking for spec this will not go out of trend for a few more years it does alot that most up to date phones have and do. I'm a p20 pro user and brought the p30 lite as a gift and it actually feels and looks awesome and for the price I'm considering of going for the handset myslef. Very equipped and comes with a 128gb drive which is really good and the camera is Superb compared to others.

After a year of using the Motorola e5 play (a basic but decent phone) I decided to splash out a bit more money but didn't want to break the bank. Bought myself a sim free Huawei p30 lite from amazon and have been impressed so far. Excellent display, very clear... Not as vivid as some high end phones I've used in the past but then this isn't a high end price. The fingerprint reader is excellent, very quick and responsive. Sound quality is a little poor due to mono speaker but OK with earphones. The camera is OK, not outstanding, but perfectly acceptable for the cost of the phone. Storage capacity is 128gb and expandable via micro sd card should you need it. The look and build quality is pretty solid. Overall a great phone if you're migrating from a low spec model but this model reveals its limitations with extended use. A solid 7 out of 10!

Great phone. I was undecided on getting a refurbished product but I needed a new phone at a reasonable cost and like the Huawei models. The phone works brilliantly, was quick to arrive and easy to set up. Listed as 'good' condition but in reality it's in excellent condition there are no scratches, no damage, no visible dents or wear and tear. Couldn't have gone better.

Battery life is really good, my child has it on constantly even when he's not watching it... He plays games and watches videos at the same time. Bought this twice... My son dropped his first down the toilet and it broke, so dont do that. This one isnt allowed near the bathroom. I love how much memory it has on there, he can download all the apps and take loads of pictures of the floor and his forehead without filling up the phone too fast. The cameras good, sound is good too. It takes earphones that have a 3.5 jack and the c port headphones work in it too. Ive got the pro, and honestly, theres not much difference

I bought this phone for my partner in May 2023. We have had two previous Huawei phones, differing models and both have exploded, no warning just immediate swelling, bang and sharp edges ! Examination revealed that the battery had swollen on both causing the phones to swell to about 1 inch wide, smashing the screen and popping what was left of it off. We thought just unlucky so I bought this one, about 1 week ago my partner saw a crack on the screen but she couldn’t remember dropping it, fearing it was about to explode we handed it into a repair firm locally, even though it was still under warranty we thought we wouldn’t be able to convince Amazon it hadn’t been dropped. He replaced the screen but when I went to collect he asked who did the previous repair ? I said no one it was bought new on Amazon 7 months ago. The tech told me the phone was certainly not new and that he found that it had been opened previously and a plate was missing from inside which covers the battery lead and the battery was also loose. He said the plate was not available to him so he replaced the screen and charged me £65. Anyway, I checked the item on Amazon thinking I’d bought from them but it turned out it was sold by them obo a company called xxxxxxx but delivered by Amazon. I checked out this company’s address at companies house and their address in Google Street view is dwelling house, with a variety of kitchen appliances littering the garden ! So Amazon Seller …. I’m not happy you sold this as a new phone when my independent tech say it wasn’t. Given that Huawei phones have exploded on us in the past, this one could have exploded whilst being carried on the body. Amazon I’m not happy that you sell on such phones to your buyers advertised as new. I contacted Amazon who said return the phone and we’ll refund which I did today. Goodness knows what’s happened to this phone in past, the sellers home didn’t look like a place I’d seek out to buy a phone from, nothing to suggest in photos that they sell phones. The Tech tells me he often gets phones for repairs which he says were not new as his customers expected. I’ve tried to be as honest and fair as I can on this review, if Amazon or the seller xxxxxxxx think I’ve been unfair or got something wrong I’m happy to consider a change or deletion. In the meantime I’m £65 out of pocket for the repair, my partner has been carrying a dangerous phone for 7 months and my trust in Amazon has plummeted. I hope to be refunded the original cost but think Amazon have some serious enquiries to make with the seller and also examine their own systems and procedures and to consider not just a refund but compensation for the repair and for inconvenience of being without the phone and for cost and time for travelling to have it examined by the independent Tech and for placing my partner in danger of serious injury.

Fantastic phone very fast response, great camera, excellent quality bargain, better than phones 3x as much. Very happy.

Handy kam heute wohlbehalten an wurde jedoch einfach vor der Türe abgelegt... Funktioniert alles es soll einzig der Akku Stecker ist nicht auf Österreich ausgelegt. Man kann das USB Kabel jedoch vom Stecker entfernen und in einen anderen Adapter stecken somit auch nicht schlimm. Die Kamera ist jedenfalls super 👌👍

Bonjour, j'epère que celui que j'ai acheté dernièrement tiendra plus de 14 mois par rapport à la batterie car l'autre m'a lâché comme ça sans prévenir et ça fait pas plaisir Apparemment celui-ci me parait plus performant je verrai à l'usure.
