Works!
The sizing is confusing a bit. It says 14 to 16 years and is described as “adult”. My granddaughter is almost 8 years old and wears a kids size 14/16 in pants/jeans and these fit perfectly. So I think the sizing is right but they just worded it incorrectly. We’ve had two pool accidents wearing this and nothing leaked out. Absolutely nothing. We did remove her from the pool the second we discovered it but I was thrilled there was no leakage. DO NOT let it sit even if you wash it out because the smell will linger. After the first accident I had to wash these 4-5 times and finally had to use bleach to get the smell out. We were on vaca so I think the washing machine in the condo wasn’t that great but ended up having to bleach once we were home. They look so cute on her and they cover up the swim diapers very well. We found a bikini top to match perfectly too.

These work well
These work keeping in #2, it will be watery so take off in bathtub or just be prepared. It’s just watery poo. Doesn’t do anything for p but it’s not really expected to. And I fit a swimmie diaper under this-my son wanted the diaper on but the legs and waist were still tight enough to keep everything in but not too tight. It’s comfortable he can wear for hours swimming. I liked it and bought more of it. My son likes that you can’t see it under his swimsuit, that’s the most important thing to him is that he doesn’t want anyone to see it, if you could see even a centimeter poking out, he wouldn’t wear it.

they do what you need them to do
My daughter just 'tested' these and I'm happy to report they held everything in! I would love a less aggressive color personally, but no one ever sees them but me so I guess it's no big deal. Editing the review now that I have had them a while: Still pleased with the product. The diaper I bought has now worn out, and I will be replacing it with the same product. If you fill them with what my daughter fills them with, there is no way to avoid a hot wash to get them clean and clean-smelling, which I think shortens the life of the fabric somewhat. Between accidents I just rinsed the chlorinated water out and let air-dry. She wears them with swim shorts or a wetsuit-style swimsuit, and in neither case is it obvious she is wearing another layer of protection. Cleanup after an accident is not fun, as when you pull them down everything comes out as once (don't try outside a shower stall!). But I don't know how you would make undoing the diaper easier without sacrificing the retaining capacity.

Works Well
My 35 month old is 100th-percentile, is wearing approximately size 5T - 8s, depending on the brand. Smaller re-usable diapers won't fit her and she's still not potty trained. She's approx. 42" tall, 46lbs (we haven't had a well visit recently, so that's an educated guess). I purchased the blue, it's a royal blue in XS size. Around the legs are a little snug, but my daughter says they are comfy. Not sure if a small would be too loose. I got a tankini swim suite for swim lessons, so the royal blue worked perfectly with the blues and greens in her tank top. What I noticed in the toddler re-usable swim diapers is that water just travels right through them, so if my daughter urinates before we actually get into the pool, it's a mess. But when we use the special needs swim diapers, liquid gets trapped in the diaper, so that's kind of nice to minimize embarrassing situations, but I always have to remember to 'dump' the extra water out of her swim diaper before we rinse her off in shower, towel dry, etc. I have had these for about a month, have used them about 4 times, machine washed gentle and low heat dry, so far so good!

Comfortable Swim Diaper for Autistic Child
We used to get Keifer swim diapers for our 8 year old autistic daughter. She needs them when she’s swimming. She found them comfortable and easy to put on and take off, easily when wet! Unfortunately Keifer stopped making them in her size. We had trouble finding a quality, cost effective replacement. Thankfully we found My Pool Pal’s Swimsters! Our daughter loves the different colors since we can match them with her suits, and she finds them even more comfortable to wear! They’re really easy to clean and dry too! A great replacement for a definite need!

Difficult to size
My child is SN and 9 and wears large girl's sizes. I used the chart for pounds that posted and was sent an adult small. It was way too large. I believe the package was probably mislabeled. The measurements I went by sent her an extra small child. The elastic around the legs were too tight and left marks just trying on. (She is not a plus size child.)We tried the size small child and it was better but still slightly tight at the legs. I am not purchasing another pair to try the next size up. This is disappointing to have to purchase three pair at $24.95 each and not be able to get the right size. The quality seemed great and easy to wash similar to swimsuit bottoms.
