Run Wild

When I read this to my 4-year-old, he was like, “What? That was the book?” The cover is beautiful and the illustrations are well done, but there’s literally no story. It’s a bunch of unconnected words and phrases encouraging kids to run around outside. This is my first Prime book club disappointment.

The artwork in this book is beautiful and I think is appealing to all ages. There are so many little bugs and things to spot on each page that it’s a fun read. The text is rhythmic and invites reading along, plus the message is fabulous...put down your electronics and get outside! As a former educator I can say that I think this Is one book that will become one of the regulars in many, many libraries.

This book even makes me want to take off my shoes and run around outside and explore! The illustrations are FANTASTIC. The words have a rhythmic flow that are fun to read. My children were captivated. I had to buy a couple copies for nieces and nephews.

I have a spirited child and this book really resonates with him. The illustrations are lovely. Like most families, we sometimes feel like we are overscheduled and running from errand to errand, or activity to activity. This book serves as a nice reminder to slow down and let your kids just be kids.

This book is beyond cute and the illustrations make it!! This is a great book for children that love to be outside and explore. Can't go wrong with this one. Have not seen a child's book like this in years. One Caveat: This came hermetically sealed and was very difficult to open, have to be very careful not to cut the book itself.

Like the author, I grew up running amok in the woods of Maine. This book nails that experience. The artwork is awesome, the story compelling, and our 1-year-old loves it. I read it to her almost every day...

I like this book and I think the basic text is good to read with a little one (my daughter is 4), but it's not as exciting as I was hoping it would be. I like that it encourages little ones to get outside and play (and get a little messy).

Great book for any kid encouraging them to get outside and feel the earth under their feet. This is a book about being a kid and experiencing nature.
