SW-040 Decorative Stainless Steel Door Stopper with Blue Coating

I re-did my bedroom. Ripped up the carpeting (which was awful) and laid down beige marble looking tiles, painted the whole thing, re-did the moulding and put in a mirrored (with a mirrored top), sliding closet door. I then bought furnishing which can be taken as either modern or an elegant 20's look. I loved my new room but then it came down to 'fine-tuning' things. I had to come up with little pieces that would compliment my new room. One item I wanted was a door stopper for my bathroom door. I looked high and low and finally found THIS. The photo looked ideal for what I wanted. Happily, it IS perfect! It's super sleek & modern - yet at the same time, looks like it could easily have come from the 1920's. It has not disappointed me in any way. I love the fact that it is stainless steel and the black rubber and the small handle set it off perfectly. It is used on a flat tiled floor and works flawlessly. It has not disappointed me in any way.

I love and use this door stopper daily. It is heavy, yet is small and good looking. The best way to keep my door open when I carry in groceries from the car because I don't have to worry about the door hitting me "you know where". The handle is great as I can hang it on a hook just inside the door where it is out of the way but always handy.

So many great reviews, yet my experience was not even close to those users of this product. The rubber treads came off the first week, and even with the rubber threads, it kept moving and did not keep the door still with the slightest wind blowing.I used it under a wooden door on a thin and rough carpet which is not slippery at all. I passed it to a friend but it did not work for her either. Right now it is sitting at a corner of the room collecting dust and occasionally grabs people's attention, but I have no positive things to say about it.I got an email from the customer service a few days after receiving the item asking about my satisfaction and I explained the issues, especially with the rubber threads coming off easily. This is what I got in response: "We apologize that the product did not meet your expectations and will use your feedback to make it better." I found it ironic because their initial email said: "Sleekwares stands by its products 100% and I’m following up to ensure your complete satisfaction." So, dear Sleepwares, in case I wasn't clear in my email to you, here I make it public that I was not satisfied with the door stopper, nor I am satisfied with the customer service.

Such a great door stop! I've used it both on carpet and on our hard kitchen floor. I love the stainless steel because it will look good in any room. The two rubber strips that run all around it make it look even cooler and they are perfect for gripping onto the floor and door. Most other door stoppers will just slide around on the floor, especially on hard, smooth floors.. but not this one! The little attached handle is great for hanging right next to your door for easy access. Definitely the best door stopper that I own.*Product received for testing and review. I am a teacher and my classroom door opens to cement. They advertised that this item is high quality, strong and "FUNCTIONAL - Designed to grip all floor types, including tile, STONE, linoleum, wood and carpet without damaging floors, doors or walls." But day one, it already fell apart. The rubber came off and there were already marks and scratches on it. I don't know why they would advertise that it's high quality and strong yet not withstand one use. I'm very disappointed.

SleekStopper is doing the job after our plastic Swiss Cheese wedges were eaten by the dogs (not entirely but...). We work at home and leave a steel door partly open (floor is polished concrete) so the dog can get in and out. We're in a windy spot, but the sleek stopper, in addition to the charm of its design (though not quite swiss cheese) keeps the door where we put it, just 10" or so open. Like the handle so I don't have to put myself out to remove it.

disappointed. Fit the office decor PERFECT. We have stainless steel / glass doors, so adding a permanent door stopper on the bottom of the door was out of the question. was looking for something more appropriate than clunky commercial rubber stoppers. That being said, rubber on stopper started fraying after only 2 weeks of use. Already having to look for another alternative.

Best door stopper on the market and I researched them all. It holds open my heavy door on my condo and it is inside of a multi story building. The other types like the rubber stoppers would not hold the door unless you wedge it under the door and since it's wood it would pull off the bottom of my door to remove it. I was so... frustrated that I thought I could find a door stopper that would suit my needs by searching the web. This stopper is incredible and if your questioning it don't. Just get it!
