Love it! I know it not having the connecting bar between the eyes was very appealing to me, and why I bought these!! I think that may, however, be how the ones with the bar stay on better. If you sit up just a little too much, they fall off right in the sun lol! Or just one does! But that’s user error!

I especially like that these non-bridge, non-string strapless eye shields fit right into the eye holes, along with the rubber seals around the eye holes, of my red light mask. I can place the shields in the eye holes of the mask before I put on the mask and they stick in place when I'm putting the mask on and during the treatment. I lie back on a recliner sofa while I put the mask on and during the 3-minute treatment. I store the mask with the shields in. The shields are opaque except for a tinted center circular piece that allows some vision. Although, I don't really need to see anything during the treatment. I just rest and keep my eyes closed for those 3 minutes. When I tested the eye shields by putting them on my eyes in just regular room light and covering the center with my finger, it became completely pitch black. However, nothing evidently totally shields your eyes from the red light which penetrates and I can still see a red glow during the treatment. Much reduced from when I didn't have the shields yet though.

These ocular occluders have their flaws, sure, but they're not as bad as some claim. Before ordering, I saw several reviews that said they fall out very easily. I ordered them anyway for the following reasons: 1. I'm not buying these to go out jogging. They'll either be held in place by an LED mask, or I'll be lying on my back and gravity will do its thing. 2. Everyone's anatomy is unique to them. Personally, I have somewhat prominent cheek bones, my eyes are average size, and they have some depth in relation to my brow. If, for instance, you have rather large eyes that are either flush with or extend past your brow, these aren't going to work well for you. 3. I'm particularly skilled at holding things in place with just my eyebrow and cheekbone. Not only are monocles cool, but the Matrix came out when I was a kid. I HAD to have sunglasses like Morpheus because, come on, those are objectively rad. So, today, I bet I could keep my seven-year-old from stealing my sunglasses off my face through shear brow grip alone. I'm going to go home and test that theory. 4. These are dirt cheap and come with a case. I saw another seller offering these dirt cheaper, but they didn't have the case. Pass. Anywho, I have now used the items and have a couple tips on using them. I also have one con that likely won't affect most people. Tips: 1. When you first open the case, you will likely need to stretch the eye cups out a bit. Test the fit, and then forcefully open the rubber cup with your thumbs like you're mad at your hot dog bun that isn't cut all the way through. Test the fit again. Repeat as necessary until each cup fits your lidded eyeball well. 2. At this point, this step should come naturally due to the better fitment of the rubber. Hold the cups to your open eyelids, and kind of nestle the rubber into the folds of skin... Are they nestled? Good. Now, slowly begin to blink like you have a brain injury. You've forgotten how to blink your eyelids without moving your eyebrows at the same time.... Did you do it? Your eye cups should now be firmly seated! Congratulations! If, however, they fell out, that either means your eyelids or weird OR my eyelids are weird and this helps no one. I hope it's you and not me. Man, would that be embarrassing. Con: One of the tinted lenses had two gouges in them like someone stabbed it with a tiny two-pronged pickle fork. You know what? I bet that's exactly what happened. Now that we know what caused the damage, the only question that remains is, "What did the lens do to deserve being stabbed by a pickle fork? It's so oddly specific, it had to be a crime of passion." I didn't buy these to see out of. I bought them to not see out of. So, I don't care about the brutal stabbing. You're opinion may vary and thus be wrong.

These are pretty good as far as I can tell. I got them to use while wearing a red light eye mask (which I just don't completely trust even though they're supposed to be eye-safe). The best part is that you can put them on AFTER you strap the eye mask on and lay down. In my case I have pretty round eyes and they come a bit folded in the case, so you may want to squeeze them lengthwise to fit your eye shape and then pop the lens back in if it comes loose. You do still see a bit of light through your skin but it's much less. Again, probably not necessary but better safe than sorry!

These barely fit over my eyes. And they are really uncomfortable. I would not recommend them and I may return them.

These are perfect with the Current 2 Red Light Therapy Mask. The eye protection included with the mask is uncomfortable for me, leaving deep marks in my skin after a 10 minute session. Thankfully these cover my eyes and protrude through the eye holes of the mask, giving me both protection and comfort.

These individual tanning eye protectors are nice and I use them, but the case they come in that also stores them is too small for them. You have to smash them in order to close the case (which will also unhinge when you do) and because they have always been in the case, they are pressed thin (like you're closing your eyes, but not all the way). So if you have slanted eyes, they will cover completely, but if you have more round eye sockets, you can see light above and below. I don't think they are made that way, because I have been working with them to make them more rounded, so if left out of the case after doing this, they might stay rounded out a bit like you'd expect such eye covers to be. You can see in my photo that the box does not want to close on them, so you have to smash them to close the lid. This keeps them malformed when you take them out to use them. If you turn them upward, the lid is even more open and impossible to close. I'm simply going find something else to keep them in. I think if they do unfold all the way, I could use them in a stand-up red light, or tanning booth. As they are out of the box, you can't squint enough to hold them in, but laying down is not a problem because you just set them on your eyelids and I am otherwise satisfied with them. It's the case I have an issue with because it is too short to close. The case is so important to keep them together, I'm being generous only taking one star off, given that I also had to take a photo and upload it so you could see for yourself what I am explaining.

I am an avid sunbathers and had issues with burning my eyelids. I bought these sunnies and they work great. Only issue is u must be laying down fairly flat because no suction on sunnies. They just sit on ur eyes. They have a small area of uv protected plastic so u can look out of them if needed. Bought pink because for some reason black and navy more money???

They work really well
