TOPTOW RV Bumper Hitch Receiver for 4in to 4.5in Beams, 2in Receiver | Fits for Bike Racks, Cargo Carriers Camper-on

I picked up this hitch receiver to add extra carrying capacity to my RV, and overall, it’s been a solid addition. The TOPTOW 63801 mounts easily to standard 4"–4.5" bumpers and instantly gives you a 2-inch receiver, which is perfect for bike racks or small cargo carriers. Installation was straightforward—no complicated setup—and once tightened down, it feels secure for lighter loads. The steel construction seems durable, and it holds up well for everyday use. What I really like is how cost-effective it is compared to other options. It does exactly what it’s designed for without overcomplicating things. That said, this is best for light-duty use. It’s great for bikes or a small rack, but I wouldn’t rely on it for heavy towing or high-weight applications. 👉

This product was really easy to install on my RV bumper. Unfortunately it rides a bit low to actually attach a cargo carrier as I had originally planned. However it was pretty quick to install and would work great on an SUV or other suitable vehicle. It seems sturdy.

Mounted fine. Hardware worked well. No issue with mounting. Fitment is as expected (hence the title). I wish they would include shims to have a layer between the metal on metal. Also, mounted on a 4” bumper it is a little hard to get squared up since it moves as you tighten the bolts. I needed a dead blow hammer to persuade the brackets where I wanted them. Overall, good, “as expected”, and will work well for my use. No complaints other than I wish it had shims, but this ad never said it would come with them and I didn’t expect them to be included. Just for emphasis - expected.

This is a great asset to my camper. It does exactly what it is intended for. That is it allows for towing and as an add on carrying basket. This is what I purchased it for. I attached it to my 4inch travel trailer bumper, installed my basket and put my cooler on it. After reaching my destination I realized that it was loose. My bumper is 4inch square and the hitch fit as it should. The problem is after the trip, the flanges bent from bouncing and that loosened the hitch. To resolve this problem, I bought four pipe nipples that are 4inches long. After placing them between and around the bolts, tightening the bolts again, problem solved. My only concern is that I may have to change the bolts to grade 8.

Great way to add a hitch to the rear of a camper or utility trailer.

Mounted this on the rear underside of my cargo trailer / camper to mount a bike rack. It was a custom application which utilized the traiker's metal cross-bracing instead of a trailer bumper. It works and looks great! All you can see is the lip of the receiver sticking out the rear about 3/8 of an inch. It is very strong, far more-so than a loaded bike rack or cargo carrier would require.

This works perfectly for my RV. I used it to mount an Amateur Radio antenna to the rear of my RV.
