Good
Very smooth and thick. Nice, small and portable. Feels like an overkill for just pencil sketches/studies. Here are some pencil sketches (HB pencil) for reference. Will consider buying again when this one is filled.

THE PAPER IS SO GOOD.
I'm pretty sure I've never reviewed an item but I love this sketchbook that much. I would probably trust this paper with my life. See, in my artist lifetime, I typically would just buy whatever sketchbook I could get my hands on. Some were better, some were worse. I usually didn't think about it. All paper was paper. Different kinds of paper, sure. But papery. But this one is not JUST paper... It is GODLY paper. This is one of the few I would go out of my way to get again. I have purchased twice and will purchase a third time. It's good on pencil good on pen good on marker good on acrylic marker good on water color good good

Good quality
I really like Moleskine brand.

Great Quality
Love this size sketchbook. Quality of paper is good for Posca pens and I like the closure. The only problem I have is the price. Compared to just a few years ago these have doubled + in price no matter where you shop.

Classic. Simple. Perfect.
Yes, the pages are an archival cream color. It's part of the moleskine charm. These are sturdy, they lay flat on any page (great for scanning and splash pages), have a pocket in the back for storing references or notes, and they have a built in bookmark threaded in the spine. Oh, and they smell like art. This is the best sketchbook I've ever had. I've got a few of them now and years from now I will have shelves of them.I draw every day, filling one or two pages per day. I have gone through 6 sketchbooks in the last year and these are my favorite.A note:Copic and Prismacolor markers will bleed thru. I thought they wouldn't because of how thick the pages are, but they do. A really good marker for moleskines are tombow dual brush pens. They build darkness well, are water based and don't bleed if you don't oversaturate the page.

High quality paper
Heavy weight pages, no bleeding ink. Nice for sketches, notes, letterboxing, etc.

Great for little doodles and sketches.
I bought this product after I was pleased with the larger "Moleskine Sketchbook Large". It's size is perfect for keeping in your front or back pocket, while being big enough to allow for two or three small doodles per page.My favorite feature about this book is that every two pages are nearly seamlessly connected. This allows me to sketch full landscapes across two pages.I myself use this book to draw landscapes, and use the individual pages for single doodles or sketches. I also favor the strap, which just looks cool, and helps keep it closed. The yellow pages are also a joy, as they give the art it's own artsy flavor that white pages can'.A must buy for anyone who needs a good pocket sized note/sketch book. I also suggest that you get the "Moleskine Sketchbook Large" as a companion. As a final note, I use the product "Pilot VBall Liquid Ink Stick Roller Ball Pen, Micro Point, 0.50 mm, Black Barrel, Black Ink 12-Count (53206)" For my drawings, which works fluidly and never breaks or scratches.

They’re just the best notebooks by far!!!
Moleskin spoils you so other sketchbooks/notebooks don’t stand a chance. Now I’m a notebook snob on top of all my other endearing qualities!

Love these sketchbooks
Love these sketchbooks! The paper is super smooth, which I love for my ink and markers. Not as well suited for wet mediums but it handles acrylic well and I practice watercolour in there occasionally, even if the paper gets a bit rough after some use. Any water based marker will work wonders in this sketchbook, alcohol markers bleed through the paper, but the surface takes to it well. I haven't found a sketchbook that doesn't bleed through with the alcohol markers.Bit pricey, but the paper is really nice and the binding looks super professional.

Honestly good one..!
One of the best sketchbooks. Takes everything well except watercolors.. little expensive for the size, but it keeps your effort and artwork intact. Been using it for more than 2 yrs now. No problem with stitching and cover quality etc.
User
Perfect for sketching outside
These little sketchbooks are perfect for carrying around in a bag or a pocket but particularly useful for those of us who still like to draw with a pen or pencil and colour with watercolour. Watercolour is still the most convenient medium to carry around. The paper is excellent and supports colour on both sides.
