Replacement for Roomba 980 Roomba 960 Roomba 690 Roomba 890 Roomba 860 Roomba 805 Roomba 652 Roomba 614 Roomba 665 Roomba 675 Roomba 680 Battery

I purchased a CS-IRB980VX battery through Amazon on 7/20/20. After about 6 months this battery started giving progressively shorter run times in my Roomba 960 and then it stopped charging 10 days before the warranty period ended. Attempts to contact the seller (Bomibattery) have failed. DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY. PURCHASE THE OEM VERSION.

Product came promptly and works great in my iRoomba

The battery worked for awhile but after about three months of use it got to the point that Roomba would stop due to a low battery within a few minutes of leaving the charging dock. Additionally, I have no particular reason to think that this is actually anywhere near double the capacity of the stock battery. I have now switched back to the stock battery this was purchased to replace. I contacted Bomibattery and we sent a few pleasant emails back and forth but since this is past the 30 day Amazon return window I am unable to return that way and they did not offer any alternatives.

Installed last week... Already having charging problems. It's been charging all day and the battery is only half full. Roomba kept reporting a battery error. Made sure the electrodes were clean on the charging station and the roomba... Didn't really help.

Used on irobot model 980. Likes: Easy install. Good physical fit. That is IT. Dislikes: Entire description is a mis-representation. From day one it failed to fully charge, per icon irobot app. Over one year performance dwindled from total cleaning job taking 4 hours to a total of 8 hours, comprising mostly of Charge time. Actual cleaning cycles (between charges) grew shorter! Contacting vendor invites more misleading advice. Beautiful knockoff!
