Good Quality, Easy Install, and Solid Light Output
The hykolity 4FT LED shop light seems like good quality and was easy to install. It feels solid, links easily with other lights, and the pull‑chain switch is convenient. It’s definitely bright and works well for a garage or workshop, though it’s not quite as bright as some other lights I’ve used with similar ratings. Still, it provides plenty of light, looks clean once mounted, and has been reliable so far. Overall, a solid shop light for the price.

Was better than I’d hope. I have weak eyes and require bright light to properly see. This light does the trick. It is also super light so was easy to install. Would highly recommend.

Despte some reviewers' complaints about poor packaging and a damaged fixture, mine came very well packed and in perfect condition. I got this fixture to light up an 8 X 16 foot shop. There are several mounting options, and all necessary hardware is included. I chose to mount mine directly onto a wall. I'm a big proponent of drywall screws, so I used some of these to mount the light onto the studs of my shop. It does have the ability to be liked together with additional fixtures, but I can attest to the brightness of just one. It more than adequately lights up my space. The LED's are instant on, without the flickering associated with fluorescent bulbs. Being LED, I expect many years of service out of this fixture. If you've ever had to replace a ballast in a fluorescent fixture, you'll know what I'm talking about. My only small complaint is the short length of the pull chain, particularly of you plan on mounting the light on a ceiling. I put a two-foot length of braided twine on mine to ease finding it in the dark shop. Overall, I'm very pleased with this fixture, especially at this price point.
