AC Infinity 10-Inch Aluminum Ducting, 25-Feet Long Four-Layer Protection

The four layer build is the real difference here compared to thinner single layer ducting. The inner aluminum foil layer is fire resistant, and the outer thermoplastic layer adds real resistance to tearing and punctures while routing it through tight spaces. The internal steel wire spiral keeps the tube round and open even after bending it around obstacles, rather than collapsing or kinking the way cheap ducting tends to. It stretched to full length without issue and the diameter fit snugly over a standard inline fan connection, no fighting to get it seated. The two included clamps are good quality and cinch down tight for a proper seal. Works well whether the application is a grow tent, dryer vent, or general exhaust routing.

Love me some flexible ducting. If I didn't have this and duck tape my life would be in shambles. There are so many uses for this ducting that I wouldn't have even realized had I not ended up with so much extra. Now I us it to direct water from my gutters into my flower beds! Works like a charm! Oh it's super tough also!

This is probably the best non-insulated flex duct available with a foil liner. It does provide some modest insulation but not to a real R value. It is however much less bulky and easier to work with than true insulation rated duct. I used it to connect an Aprilair E130 dehumidifier to my return side HVAC ducting and it was perfect for my needs. I do wish it came in white or gray though. I think that option would be a real selling point for this type of product, rather than black. Also, while this is still the thickest non-insulated flex duct duct I’ve found, they count the metal spring that keeps the duct shape as one of the four layers, which is not a very honest way to market this otherwise best of class product.

I've had a couple of these 8" ducts in use for over a month, which have been repositioned repeatedly while handling nonstop blower output, and have had no problems so far. The multiple layers and the opaque black outside are well-suited for maintaining light discipline for plants that require it. The ductility is par for these kinds of ducts but it does feel more resilient than what you might pick up for your dryer. The ends have zero additional tolerance so getting then over the rim of a duct inlet or blower fan sucks, but that's pretty typical for flexible ducts. Recommended. It seems better quality than the average flexible duct and I don't think it costs too much more, although I didn't comparison shop. If you can get one with equal quality and ends that expand slightly to reduce the pain of getting them attached, I'd go that route, but this duct is probably still going to be better than most.

I've used steel ducts and insulated flex duct and then recently tried this. It comes at a better cost than the insulated duct and can even complete easily with solid steel ducts. This is a high quality, easy to work with and kink free duct. I used to route heat from my oil furnace to a new basement room and installation was easy and seems like it will stand the rest of time. Will buy again when I do room number 2

The black Matt finish looks great in the basement. It is easy to attach both ends and took me about five minutes to replace old one.
