These are the best Defensive Carry Night Sights, here's why...
My Meprolight Tru-Dot Night Sights were getting dim, so I started to look at all the options that are now available (2019) for my EDC CCW. The sights that I compared and looked at before making my decision were the XS Big Dots, Trijicon HD Night Sights and the Truglo Tritium Pro Night Sights. So, why did I feel that the Truglo sights were the best choice for my Kahr P9 (or any other CCW for that matter)? Well, I took a very close look at these top options and then looked at the pros and cons of each Night Sight.Let's Start out with the XS Big Dot Night Sights - these are excellent Defensive Sights for protection up close. The Big Dot is very easy to acquire quickly, getting you on target fast, if you are shooting 15 yards or closer. But if you are shooting out past 15 yards, accuracy is going to be an issue due to the very large front sight post covering up the potential target. I realize that most situations for Defensive Shooting are in at close range (10yrs or closer), but I am also very aware that in today's world, I need and want to have the ablility to shoot accurately out to 25+ yards. With the number of Mass Shootings increasing yearly, now more than ever, do I feel the need to be able to hit targets at much greater distances and do it with accuracy. Another concern of mine is One Hand Manipulation (Racking), the Big Dot Rear Site is not optimal for this situation. The rear site is sloped backwards, which makes it difficult to do one handed racking, if needed. This was a big negative for me!Next were the Trijicon HD Night Sights. These sights are also an excellant choice and as I did my research, I realized that Truglo's Tritium Pro's were probably designed after the HD's and to compete directly with them. Both sights have a really nice, highly visible front site, with a U shaped serrated back site designed for quick target acquisition both in close and at distant ranges and their accuracy abilities are great too. One possible Pro would be that the Trijicon sights have a colored front sight (orangish-red) vs the bright white sight on the Truglo's. While lots of people might like the red dot type of appearance on the HD’s, for me it's not an real benefit at all. The Truglo's front site is a little bigger, making it just as easy to pick up and acquire quickly as the HD’s, but that is as long as you are in light. However in low light conditions, the Trijicon HD's tritium site acquisition is very poor. First of all, their Tritium vials aren't as bright as the Truglo's and the front sight on the HD's appear to be the same size as the rear dots, which makes it hard to know that you are lined up properly in a defensive night or low light situation. The Truglo's have a larger and brighter tritium front site, making it far superior when needing to line up the dots in low light or no light situations. This is a big plus for the Truglo’s!!! Some of the other issues I had with the HD's are with regards to the rear sight, they have very sharp edges (cutting sharp) and are much higher (taller), which is something I didn’t care for, at all. Then there is the Nicely designed, aggressive front edge on the Truglo’s rear sight, ideally made for one handed racking. This is a big pro for me! Lastly is the fit of the HD's, they have a poor fit on some gun models which leaves gaps under the sights when mounted, $140+ sights, bad on you Trijicon! For me, the Truglo Tritium Pro's are absolutely the best choice... and it has nothing to do with price... the Truglo's are available online for around $68.00 (retail $104.00) vs Big Dots $140 and Tritium HD's $150+ price tags. I'll take that savings and buy more practice ammo, Thanks Truglo!!!I highly recommend these sights!!!

False information
Misleading! Please don’t purchase this. Says it fits a lot of other options but that’s wrong information

Not bad
Good site. The only thing I would change is the rear seats. They don’t have white rings like the front only the green dots.

YESSSSSS !!
Awesome upgrade from OEM nights ! White dot on the front sight REALLY helps daylight aiming and the tritium is very bright. Excellent value !

Correct weapon for sights.
What other brand do these sights work with? I own a Walther PPQ and a Hellcat Pro. I definitely don’t own a Kahr Arms.

They look like great sights. Better double check the date of manufacture on your Kahr.
I already own a set of these so the sights get a 5. Be warned however. Kahr changed the design of the dovetail on the PMs in 2004. This is marked on the package but other than the snapshot of the entire package is not stated anywhere else. This is not Amazon fulfilled and so I can't take them back. I'm responsible for not doing my research but since TRUGLO obviously knew (since its marked on the package) it should've been mentioned on the product title.I have to eat a hundred bucks so you lose 2 stars.
