Red Label Fishing Line for Power Baits & Heavy-Duty Applications, Freshwater, 100% Fluorocarbon, Clear, Multiple Sizes

First time trying out a lighter 100% fluorocarbon line.... all is can say is i am Impressed! Most of my fishing poles are set up for bass/catfish and I'm running 30+ pound braid to 15 pound fluoro leaders or just straight 80 pound braid so I wanted to set up a pole for trout and smaller fish in the area and after looking through a bunch of reviews and doing some research I went for the seaguars. I set up a 7' medium weight spinning rod with roughly 100 yards of 6lb fluoro backed with another 100 yards of the 15 pound braid that was on the reel already and started fishing a 2.5 pink/white firetube jig and right away caught a small bass with no problems! Then a few more casts and about 10' off shore i thought I snagged on a tree or weeds but ended up pulling a 20+ pound snapping turtle up.... needless to say I figured that jig was gone for sure but to my surprise after all that pulling and drag squealing it let go and I got my jig back straight into my sunglasses at Mach 1. Long story short this is great line for a decent price and it held up to way more than it should've even with a quickly tied improved clinch knot. (Not the best knot for fluoro)

Some of my absolute favorite flourocarbon fishing line!! Especially at the price I paid was a absolute steal! I probably have about 10 unopened boxes of this stuff laying around my house. Lol the quality is unmatched for this price range, it cast so smooth, ties very strong knots, seems almost like it's less thick than other brands but just as strong and I really don't think the fish can see it all that well!

I use this as my leader line used it yesterday for trout and I was the only one that caught fish at that pond! Really hard to see line Best leader line to use!!! I will definitely buy again once I’m out great price as well.!

The best for the money IF USED FOR LEADERS. This line sucks as a main line. Too much memory and when it gets a visible white colored kink in the line, it shatters. Can only recommend as a leader on braid. This is $10.97 at my local Walmart, for what it's worth. If you can't wait two days that's where I get mine. ***UPDATE 2/20/17*** So I've had several break offs just above the knot. The knot strength appears to be amazing, but be careful what knot you tie and make sure to hardcore lubricate your knots. I tie a San Diego jam knot most of the time with flourocarbon. Ive also had some break offs on the flourocarbon side of the connection knot, a blood knot. The knot always holds but if the knot catches on the line guide or in a rod guide, it breaks on the flouro side. ***This is using the 15 lb flouro***

I like it, light for casting, heavey duty and very strong ( high abrasions resistant) and i wish to be lower cost

Good line. Totally as expected. A little over a meter extra.

this line is a) on the thicker side b) the memory of the line makes it kink easier than the sunline sniper i use c) not cheap either d) i use it as leader line, it hasn't failed me despite the cons listed above. but automatically when i am about to fg on a 20lb leader to my mainline i reach for the sunline sniper or seaguar fluoromeister Otherwise, it isn't too bad a line.
