These are really nice and seem as though they will last a while and age nicely. We found ourselves spending $20+ dollars every couple of years to replace the wooden or stone ones we used to buy. These are about 6 months old and look great. I plan on reconditioning them with some saddle soap and leather dressing after a couple of years. I can see these lasting 10 years or more with proper care. H&D really does make simple things that last. Love them!

Very good leather, not a sybthetic. Color is very nice, matched photos in the product description. It's almost the same shade as my leather desk mat, so looks like a set - bonus. Well made, well stitched. Only negative is that the leather arrived a but dry, perhaps sitting in a warehouse for awhile before being shipped to me. It's in good condition, just dry so I'll treat it so the condition stays good. The info sheet that came with it suggests treating it with beeswax, interesting, never used that before. I've used mink oil before, works well but I'm curious so I'll try beeswax on one coaster to see how well it works. Overall, nice thick leather, great color, well made. What's not to like, highly recommended. A little luxury at my desk, why not make our work environments nicer too.

We wanted something different and not like a traditional coaster so we decided to get these. I didn't read the reviews or description, just liked the price and look. But it came with a little card description of the where they are from and who made them. I thought that was really cool. Leo made ours and they're from Guatemala. I will for sure being buying these again as a gift for someone.

I switched from stone to wood. Each had their issues. Stone was not absorbent enough and can shatter. Wood was great at dealing with water (condensation from my cup), but warped and cracked easily. This was a best of both and so far very durable. Only complain may be about the edges. Wished they were burished for extra durability. Polished, but not burnished.

We absolutely love them. They are gorgeous. Just look at that packaging! My only (small) problem is that I thought they were slightly larger, but that can be my fault entirely. Highly recommend. These will last for years to come, so they are well worth the price.
