I am using these outdoors, exposed to the elements. They have held up great now for over a year. I originally wanted destaco brand since I had used them in the past and I know they are high quality. I am happy to report that these are a great alternative at a much cheaper price. They aren't as robust as the destaco counterpart, but they fit the need and function just as expected. Id buy these again for the same application.

Love what I received

I used these on one of the Chinese excavators to allow for removal of the rear compartment and ease of access to the air filter and allow the unit to be more easily serviced. These were the perfect addition for that function. Pricing was fair for the number of clamps that were included. Only downside was having to purchase some bolts to attach them separately. Perfect size and strength for the application in which I used them.

My commercial wing mower has a hydraulic radiator and engine radiator held together using a simpler toggle latch that did not have a locking mechanism. Due to vibration the old latch would become unfastened and the 2 radiators would separate causing loss of cooling from the engine fan. These latches are much more sturdy and lock into place so I no longer have this issue. These latches can be used for many different applications and are well worth the money.

I picked these up to use to keep my harbor freight haul master folding trailer for use when folded up in storage position. I was using a small 2x4 with bolts and wings nuts through the stake posts (see pic) while effective, it was slow to undo and go. I wanted something faster. This fit the bill. I wish I they were an inch or two longer, but they worked perfectly. I oybised 2 of the 3. So I have 1 spare in the event of failure. So far, its a great improvement. I highly recommend them at this point in time. I cannot speak on their weather resistance and rust proofing at this point. I keep the trailer stored outside on the side of the house in SoCal as you can see by the paint fading on my trailer (shes gonna get repainted soon, (thats another review in week or two) I will update this review at 6 months and 1 year.

These are overpriced and overrated. Not sure they will survive 6 months under normal use. The material is too soft for holding the 2000 lbs they claim

Easy to install, seem to be very sturdy. Not sure that I would test the "2,000 lb" rating though, lol. I would say they are golden for 500 pounds, maybe 750. Very solid latch mechanism, built from a bit stronger stuff than pot metal but the screws included are not even 1 inch wood screws so there is no way these can hold much without using different screws. No surprises, pics gave a good idea of what I was getting and I am more than happy.

When u have 2 doors that close together the center seal is never compressed, so these clamps easily pull the 2 sides together- works well and I would recommend it , well designed and strong

I was a little worried these might be too small for my sliding shop door, no worries as they work excellent. Pulls the doors together great. Excellent purchase
