Look and feel almost exactly like the original!
I was so pleased after reading some negative review on here when I received these. They really aren't that far off from the original OEM SNES controllers. They may be a little lighter in weight, however the button pushing feels the same to me. In any event, they were just what I needed because I now had a SUPABOY to play my SNES games, but no controllers if I decided to hook up to the television. These came on time and well packaged. I must also add that when I opened them and unwound the first controller, it slipped out of my hand and landed on my hardwood floors. I was a little nervous that it wasn't going to work now, as it was a pretty hard impact. I am pleased to say though, that the controller works flawlessly! So all in all, they are pretty rugged too!

Pleasantly surprised
I paid like $7 for two of these controllers so I really wasn't expecting much, but these controllers actually work really really well. They aren't exactly like the SNES controllers you grew up with, so it may feel a little weird at first, but they are easy to get used to and they are still good controllers. The important thing is that the controllers work well, which these do, especially for the price. A lot of people complained that the cords were really short, but I didn't have that problem with mine.

Awesome replacement, for a great price!
I ordered these (2x) TWO SNES Controller Pads for my RETRON 3 and they just came in. Havent had a chance to test them out yet on the console, but I will edit this review once I do. I also havent gotten my hands on an original SNES controller, so I cant vouch for how close it is to the original, but I do know that its lighter then the original, due to new technology making it lighter and require less components. All the buttons and the D-Pad feel really nice, and you can tell, this thing isnt cheaply built. It feels sturdy and the buttons feel nice. The cord length is 5-7 feet long, its hard to tell as I only have a 3 foot long tape measure and only enough hands to hold the tape measure stretched out, and I cant hold the wire taught to see. The length for me is fine, but some of you out there might have to sit on the floor in front of your TV. I bought my controllers from the seller "FINEST PLAY" and they arrived quickly without any problems. These controllers are sturdily built, and are definiteley better then some of the other 3rd party controllers out there (i.e. the 3rd party "Innovations Sega Genesis controller"). Basically what I want to get out there, is these arent some flimsy poorly constructed controllers. They are high quality, well built 3rd party controllers, which make a suitable replacement for broken controllers, for a fraction of the price, and are also the only controllers you can find available in "NEW" condition for the SNES.

Now I can play street fighter!!
functions good. The picture shows colorful buttons, but I got only purple and gray, like the stock ones. They look stock from far away, but are clearly not up close. The cord is really short so get some extension cables or just pull the SNES up close instead of by the TV. The D-pad is "different" something you'll have to adjust to, like any new controller. Its nice, I recommend.

The controller is okay, when it works.
We found a SNES at Goodwill for a great price, but it didn't come with a controller, so I purchased these. Currently, only one of the two controllers are still working. These controllers are okay for light use, but I'm not sure how they would hold up with heavier use. The quality is NOTHING like Nintendo controllers. This generic is a cheap controller, and it looks and feels like a cheap controller. The cord is very short, so you'll be a lot closer to the game system than you are probably used to. The D-pad can be touchy, and the controller itself is very fragile. My sons are the primary users, and I must admit, they can be a bit rough on controllers when they really get into playing their video game. You can NOT be rough with this controller.

Works just fine for me.
I still have the original controller that came with my SNES, but some of the rubber supports on the insides have ripped. So although the buttons still work, they are flat and not springy. I have the capcom controllers that have all six buttons on one dash panel, but that makes playing anything where you would normally have to use the L and R triggers repetitively almost impossible, like Star Fox for example. I had gotten "Super Pads" back when the SNES was still in stores but found that they broke very quickly. So I was hesitant to get generic controllers but tried these out. They work perfectly fine. Some people have stated that they only get one controller per order but I got two as advertised. The buttons are not colored like the picture however, they are the original SNES colors instead (arguably better anyway). The only criticism that I would have is that the edges on the A, B, X, and Y buttons are not rounded. So although they wont cut your finger or anything, they can be a little uncomfortable at times. I used one to play all the way through Mario RPG and it never broke on me or anything.

these only work for a couple weeks
I have bought 3 different pairs of these controllers and every time they stop working within a couple weeks, I thought It was my kids messing them up the other times so this time I put the game in my room so I could monitor them playing; and still they malfunction. What happened to me at least is when I put the game on its like someone is constantly pushing the start button and anything I push doesn't work so if I were you I would spend the extra for the actual Nintendo brand controllers.

I know that it's a generic control but I thought it may last a month at least but not 10 minutes, I got 2 controls and I was playing and after 15 minutes there was no response from the movement pad

They are two basic Snes controllers. The only real differences you will find with these controller's VS Real Snes Controllers is as followed. Higher Buttons, No Logo, High quality Nipples that give a nice click sound when you press the buttons. Iv had the controllers for some time now and they still work fine. I even stepped on one getting out of bed and it didt brake. So if you need new Controllers for your SNES get these ones.

I bought the controls for my old SNES, same size and even colors as the original, but the buttons don't work and the directional pads don't work either, games like MK, When moving forward or backward, the character jumps. Something important, the cable is not long as in the original controls.
