Way better than the generic. Fits and works as expected.
We have an older toilet and the original flapper failed after years and years. I bought a universal one and it worked fine for about a year. I saved a few bucks thinking they were all the same. It started leaking and no amount of adjusting could stop it. It actually was getting sucked down the tube at the end and the toilet would run for hours. I matched the model number off the sticker under the lid and found this. It installs correctly, works correctly and hopefully will last a long time. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra few dollars.

Matches the kohler toilet
Under the lid on the Kohler toilet are #s for the flapper. Knowing this makes this so much easier and faster in replacing said flapper. I don't know who thought of that but I could kiss you.

This is a replacement of a replacement I bought less than 2 years ago..... the float distorted allowing water to leak so I hope this one lasts a lot longer... the original lasted over 8 years.
