These bags are great. You can take with you to the store to put your produce in, and/or use them in your fridge in the veg or fruit drawer. They are machine washable. Big point here - REUSABLE! They have bead/drawstring closures. Set of 5. The mesh is soft - not too stiff. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,000 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including over 24,000 likes. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

I've only used these bags a couple of times so far, but I have been impressed by their durability and strength - I put several large mangoes into one and the bag was able to carry the weight just fine, which I wouldn't have been able to do with a regular plastic produce bag. The straps are also really helpful in being able to carry the bags better. I don't believe they are sheer enough for a clerk to scan an item through the bag itself due to the net, but I don't think this would be a major issue since the clerk could just open the bag and scan something directly. In my case, I've been using these at farmer's markets and they've been great. Also, the tare weight (the weight of the bag) is on a tag that's attached to the bag, which is very helpful as well. I highly recommend these as a substitute for regular plastic produce bags! Will update this review after I attempt to wash them.

I bought these bags to keep withe me grocery shopping. Most stores are doing away with plastic bags at checkout ( I bring my own) but never thought to for the produce. As I try to save the planet and limit waste - I thought these bags would be great to avoid throwing away all the plastic bags on the veggie aisle. I had bought some mesh ones on the store right there on the aisle. They were stiff but did the trick. I looked online to get some more and got these from Naturally Sensible and love them. They aren't stiff like mesh - they have softer netting and they enclosure drawstring works perfectly. I also like that they have different colors - so if you organize fruits, vegetables - you can have a system. I love these and will likely get more.

These bags are a great size - big enough to hold apples, oranges, napa cabbage or whatever you are buying. They are durable and well made. I gave only 4 stars because they aren't as easy to 'see through' as I had hoped. Cashiers sometimes need to ask because they can't see the little stickers on the produce. However, I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again and would give them as a gift because they are well made

I enjoy these bags because they are not only sturdy, have a closing drawing & you can see the produce inside, but it prevents me from putting my produce in the plastic bags that can't be used for any other purpose! The only downside I've experienced is that some produce, like bananas, can get caught in the mesh, but that's only a slight inconvenience to all the positive aspects of these mesh bags! I like the fact that they can be washed & used hundreds of times. The people at check-out always comment about how nice they are. Great product & I'll be buying more!

Who knew it could be so easy and convenient to carry produce bags?! No rips, tears, flimsy plastic for me any more!!! And when it comes time to get my Bunco Holiday gift white elephant item (best thing you bought this year) THIS will be it!!

This is my second purchase of these bags because I like them so much and needed more bags for all the fruits and veggies I purchase. I refuse to use the plastic bags provided in the stores for a 30 minute use. I feel good for using these reusable ones. Plus they are more sturdy and durable than those flimsy ones at the store and I can open them with ease and without licking my fingers especially during this pandemic! I bought my first set about 3 years ago. They are still going strong but I needed more bags. I like that I can read the stickers through the mesh of the bag which helps at self checkout. They are lightweight so if I am paying per pound, it only add a negligible amount to the scale. They are also large enough to get the produce into them or to carry a dozen apples and such! If they get dirty, I wash them and they a come out white as snow again! The only negative to these bags is one or two of the closing mechanisms broke but that hasn’t stopped me from using the bags.

i bought these bags because I wanted a product that would help me keep my produce fresher without it going bad before I can use it. I was watching a show were a chef was using washable bags for his produce and it gave me this idea. So the hunt was on. I chose these bags because for a few reasons. They were washable, the holes were a little larger then other brands, (thought they were dry faster than other brands with the smaller holes). I liked the toggle to keep my produce nice and tidy. I like that they were strong and large enough to put apples and oranges in them without them ripping. I also like the colors. And lastly the reviews for these bags were all good. I'm very pleased that i choose these bags. They are exactly what i was looking for. I would definitely recommend these bags.
