I ordered laser toner two months after buying a new printer. Since replacing only the black cartridge, why are there smudges on my printing?Defective?

remove all four cartridges and look at the little tray like area where they sit. get a paper towel and whip it up... the last toner just leaks out for some reason and leaves a mess on the bottom of my printers. its an easy fix, but once you clean the area run a few copies and you should see the copy coming out better.
