I bought this instead of the official £60 BMW version for my 2013 1 Series, in the hope of saving myself some money. The audio worked through the AUX but the USB connection did not work. I contacted the seller and they said that it is likely that the BMW system does not provide enough current for this cable to work properly. They instantly sent a refund and their communication was excellent. I have since bought the official BMW cable and that one works perfectly.Overall I could not fault the seller but this cable just doesn't work with a BMW 1 series. It is still work trying if you have a different car as you'll get good customer service if you have any issues.

Failed within 2 weeks.Still charges, but sound failed.Not returned as the box went in the bin on day one. Live and learn.

i got a new cable replacing a mini original when i got a new iphone. this is far better and a fraction of the price. the cable is also really flexible meaning it can be hidden from view easily. there is some hiss when no sound is being played but this is eliminated totally when audio is being played (including spoken word audio with silences). no interference if you are holding the phone as a passenger during playback (unlike the original). very pleased with this indeed

USB element of the cable doesn’t work, when the leads are plugged in together the phones charging symbol goes on/off every few seconds and no music comes though AUX, audio only comes through when only the phone and 3.5mm lead is plugged in without USB, have no time to organise a return otherwise I would

I bought it for my Mercedes 2010 w207 E class, which has bluetooth call but no audio streaming. I used to connect my phone for charging, and now I connect as always, and can listen music when charging. It doesn’t looks bad since the 12v and aux are both in the glove box.Only thing, the sound quality is nice, but max. volume is not as high as radio. Overall very good idea and good product👍🏼

After buying a slightly cheaper equivalent and it breaking within the first few days, this was a great replacement. Sound quality is great, charging is swift and it’s long enough to reach anywhere in the car. Feels pretty strong as well.Spend the extra couple of quid, you won’t regret it.

I have 2014 Mini Cooper S which, altho’ it has Bluetooth for phone connectivity, it doesn’t allow media streaming. A USB connector alone doesn’t allow it either so to stream music from my phone, it has to be connected to both the USB and Aux points. This cable solves that problem & works perfectly. Can’t comment on it’s durability yet as I’ve not had it long but so far so good.

Product doesn’t always work, having to constantly unplug and re plug in. The car doesn’t read it as audio automatically 75% of the time. With a normal aux cable plugged in works normally, with this product it doesn’t unfortunately.. it’s a shame as product looks nice and seems well made. Also the plug falls out of phone sometimes like a lot of non-apple remakes.
