Excellent coffee beans that never fail to disappoint
The short version: I have bought First Colony beans for about three years now and it hits the spot so much better than other coffee beans I have tried. Longer version: lovely aroma, quite dark but not overpowering, and stands on the right side of a rich roast where it still allows other flavor profiles to cut through. A tiny sharpness right at the end of the flavor which I like, but it is almost imperceptible. As a coffee drinker I don't like overly acidic blends and I think these beans really find the right balance. Also, you get a lot of beans. These bags are big and last me for a long time, and I have one large coffee a day. These bags have become a part of my routine!
