Easy and simple.
Used as temporary room lights while renovation removed the old ceiling lights. Got a little paint sprayed on them, but worked great till the new lights were installed.

Good for temporary use
These are a very good solution and value if you need hanging temporary lights. These lamp holder sockets are as advertised but the wire gauge is not mentioned. The stranded wires are definitely smaller than 18 gauge - maybe 20 gauge (maybe). This is a challenge as wires are not stripped at the ends so you need to be careful stripping as the insulation is tough and the wires are not. Also causes a bit of an issue when using wire nuts. If going solid house wire to these stranded wires, you need to ensure a good connection. But, hey, they do the job :) I Would not use these as a permanent solution as they are not "heavy duty."

Depends what you’re using them for.
They’re ok and they work just fine but I’m not sure about the durability of these. I used 6 of these to make a construction site string of lights. If I was going to use these type of bulb holders as temporary light fixtures from one job site to another I would not buy these. For my application, I’m hoping they will be just fine. I find that the wires they used to make these are very thin. The brand name ones you can buy at the hardware store have thick heavy wires.
