Super cute
This is a very large sleepsack but it’s meant to be a blanket, so keep that in mind when purchasing. My daughter is 20 lbs but 19 months and the size small fits her perfectly with lots of decent amount of room. I think if I would’ve gotten a larger size she would’ve been swimming in it. I love that you can pull the legs out for easier walking and just push the leg portion in for a regular sleep sack. It’s nice and warm too. When I get my daughter up in the morning she’s always nice and toasty :)

Very big but high quality and comfy
This lasted my daughter for five years. She is petite, and just turned six. She just outgrew the size 6-12 months (she’s not that petite). It’s just very big. But she was able to wear it when she was over a year until now. Just size down unless they have changed their sizing since 2019. It’s very soft and a very worthy investment.

Looks huge ended up being perfect!
When I first held this sleepsack up I was annoyed that I had wasted my time and money! It looked huge! I ordered a medium (6-12months 16-24lbs) for my average size 12 month old. After using it for a few nights I love it! It being huge actually made it long enough that when I put her to bed at night I don't put her feet through the bottom making it like a regular sleepsack. She stays asleep all night nice and warm. In the morning when she wakes up and starts moving and standing up her feet slip out of the holes and she is able to walk around her crib without getting frustrated like in a regular sleepsack. I do take it off as soon as I get her out of her crib because running around the house she would trip on it. For what I use it for it's perfect!

You should buy this.
Wow, I really like this. My 1-yr-old needed something to keep her cozy as her room gets chilly when the outside temp gets super low (and we have to keep the door shut because the cat is a jerk). Fleece footie pjs weren't quite enough. We put this on over cotton pjs with cozy socks. She sleeps well in it, which is super. The best thing about it though, is how adorable she looks waddling around in it. We call it her housecoat. She loves the owl on the front, so much that I hear her talking about it in her crib sometimes. It does run on the big side, I think. It's intended for them to sleep with their feet pulled in I think, but we haven't done that. She's 31" tall and and the medium is still going to fit her for a while, but I suppose the large might fit her too. I just bought a second one in the stars and rocket print and she LOVES it.

... a HALO SleepSack Micro-Fleece Swaddle for my baby and loved it since it is super soft and keeps her ...
I had purchased a HALO SleepSack Micro-Fleece Swaddle HALO SleepSack Micro-Fleece Swaddle, Soft Pink, Small for my baby and loved it since it is super soft and keeps her warm at night. She is starting to grow out of it as she is 6 months and weighs about 16 pounds. I purchased the HALO Early Walker SleepSack Micro Fleece to transition her out of the swaddle sleepsack. I was hoping that since her she is beginning to be more mobile now (i.e. starting to crawl), the Early Walker would free up her legs and feet so she can move around better in her crib. The Early Walker is just as soft and cozy as the other HALO sleepsacks that I purchased. I got a medium which says will fit a 16-24 pound baby. Although I got this sleepsack so she can be more mobile in her crib since her feet can stick out, it is still too big for her to use as intended. She's swimming in the sleepsack right now but hoping that she'll grow into it soon.

Perfect! No more crib crashing!
My ten month old has always slept in the Halo sleepsacks (swaddle, regular, fleece, lightweight) until a couple months ago when she began crawling and standing in her crib. Her feet would get caught and she'd trip and fall, crashing her poor little face into the crib bars (so sad!). I still wanted her in a fleece sack to keep warm, but with feet - so we have moved on to this and it's perfect. I was worried about the size based on reviews, but rather than size down I bought the medium based on the size chart (she's 20lbs.). Although at first I thought it was huge when I arrived, I realize now that all that added length is meant to drape over their feet when laying down to keep their little feet warm. But it's not so much extra that they trip when standing or crawling so I'm very pleased with it. Halo sleepsacks have been the best and the Early Walker is no exception!

Don't believe what you read about the big fit!
A lot of reviews say that these things run big. So, I went with a smaller size. I wish I had gone with what Halo recommends for height/weight--- these things are supposed to be big!!! When my daughter sleeps with her legs straight out, her feet poke out of the holes. Not the end of the world, but I feel like if I bought the proper size this wouldn't happen. Ideally, her feet would stay in while sleeping and have the option of poking out of the holes while she's awake. I think that's why a lot of people think these sleep sacks are too big. They're supposed to fit MC Hammer style! It should function as a blanket first with the option to walk second. Regardless, it helped us make it through this cold winter.

It is without sleeves. May need warmer pjs underneath during winter months.
I purchased this for my 6 month old daughter. It has been my most favorite sleep sack I’ve ever owned. It’s soft and kept her warm without over heating. The foot holes on the bottom allowed her to move around freely as she began to crawl and stand up. The sack stayed safely in place and never moved up or shifted to cover her face during the night. I will definitely use this brand again and would recommend it to any parent! Small price to pay for safe sleeping with your babies!
