desertcart.com: Britax Car Seat Travel Bag with Padded Backpack Straps | Water Resistant + Built-in Wheels + Multiple Carry Handles : Baby Review: Great for Check-In Baggage... - This worked great for our BIG Britax infant seat WITH base. We have the Chaperone Infant Seat and Base. It is probably the biggest out there. We got it all to fit with base on bottom/facing backwards and infant seat on top/facing forwards. It did get scuffed up from sidewalk as it drug a ways while the handle was not held up high enough---our fault I think since we let our daughter pull it (she is shorter than an adult). The bag kept the carseat from getting scuffed and dirty. We watched the baggage folks load and unload on our multiple flight connections and the bag looked easy to handle though it is an odd shape. We watched other gate-checked infant seats getting lifted by the canopy and head inserts falling out...so the bag was a good idea we think and allowed us to check it in. The bottom is a tuff plastic/rubber with great rolling wheels. The cloth on the rest of the bag is very durable. The zipper held up well though a tight fit. We love it! Review: This worked really well! - We went on a trip to Virginia from Texas recently and although we could have just used a booster seat for my son in the rental car, I wanted to have him as safe there as he is here at home. We have the Frontier 85 and this bag fit perfectly. We went ahead and checked it in at the counter and it held up very well. There are scuffs and some worn places but it totally protected the seat from any damage it would've gotten if we'd just put it in a garbage bag, for example. The counter agent said it was the nicest car seat bag he's ever seen - most people, he said - just use garbage type bags. I would definitely recommend this bag. It was worth the price even for the one trip although this will be used many more times. The wheels rolled very well and when pulling it, it didn't tip from side to side. We didn't use the back pack feature as we just rolled it everywhere but I am sure this would have worked fine and been as comfortable as any car seat on your back. :) Totally loved this purchase and wish I had gotten it sooner.

We air travel quite a bit and like to take our own carseat with us
We air travel quite a bit and like to take our own carseat with us. (Britax ClickTight Boulevard) The bag fits it very well. Love the wheels. It makes moving through the airport quite easy. I haven't used the backpack straps yet, not sure I ever will. Negative: it ripped after the first trip. The material felt durable and tough. I thought I'd get at least 4-5 uses before any rips happened. BUT.....the airlines are extremely rough on luggage. If you've ever watched the airline baggage guys throw/ toss/ drag your luggage you'd know how common tears, rips and broken zippers are. I'm not sure it's the bags fault it ripped. I just duck taped the rip on the bottom side panel near the seam back together and reinforced the other side with duck take as well. It held up on it's 2nd & 3rd flight. I'll try to come back to add a photo of my handy work. BUT with all that said, our carseat had held up incredibly well.

Perfect!
We purchased this bag because we didn't want our expensive Britax car seat damaged on a recent flight. It worked perfectly and the carseat was absolutely safe. You can tell that there's a carseat in the bag, so it might have convinced the baggage workers to handle with extra car. The bag has wheels and is easy to roll using the handle. If you don't have an extra hand to roll it, it has straps on the back so you can wear it as a backpack. Our Britax Pavilion fit perfectly. It was easy to get in the bag and easy to zip. This was actually our easiest piece of luggage to travel with. It is a tad bit expensive, but I think it was worth the extra money for a high quality product. Also, the rubber seat cover that goes under the car seat and protects the seat of your car fit right in the carseat in the bag. Just roll it up and you're good to go. Would definitely recommend.

Great for traveling
We travel alot this comes in very handy. Easy to use just place the carseat in there and zip it up. Very sturdy for when we travel so far. The wheels have not given out on us yet. Works well. Storage space is great for adding like a pillow and blanket inside of it for when we travel so I dont have to pay for another checked bag.

Britax Car Seat Travel Bag
I'm VERY disappointed with Britax over their car seat travel bag. It does NOT come with instructions on how to utlize it. My B-Safe seat's manual also does NOT explain how to use this optional bag. I discovered thru trial and error (NO thanks to Britax), that you need to place the seat upside down in the bag. Also, the seat base level (angle) should be tilted all the way forward. If you incorrectly place the seat and base into the bag right side up, you'll have the seat base's sharp edge painfully DIGGING into your back, and you'll be applying excessive stress to the bag and zippers. Why no instructions? How much would a piece of paper cost? The bag SHOULD have an internal reinforcement under the grab handle stretching the full width of the top of the bag. But it doesn't. Thus pulling the bag on its wheels or picking up the bag is an awkward and clumsy affair. The wheels do NOT feature pull over cover, for use during backpack mode. Thus, the back of your pants become horribly dirty from the wheels when you carry it as a backpack. The shoulder straps have MINIMAL padding. Very uncomfortable. The enclosure for the owner's ID card (located at the top of the bag) has no provision for "retaining" the white paper card. If the bag is placed on its side, the card falls out (a rather purpose defeating design flaw) I'm shocked that in year 2012, Britax did NOT design the zipper heads to accomodate a travel lock. Any time you would check this bag in rather than carry-on, attaching a (TSA-approved) travel lock is a must nowadays. In fact, when traveling abroad, many airlines require you to sign a disclaimer if your checked bags don't have locks. What could have been a great car seat travel bag is full of short sighted design flaws. I'm extremely unhappy with Britax's execution. Update: One week after receiving the bag, I put it to the test carrying my new B-Agile stroller. I traveled on United, on 4 aircraft. Now, there are 2 puncture holes in the main body of the bag. And, the reinforced material at the bottom has 2 areas rubbed on the verge of puncturing. In this day and age, there are nylon luggage materials that are highly resistant to abrasion and punctures. However, Britax did NOT use such materials in the construction of this bag. For the premium price, they certainly should have. I'm extremely disappointed.

Super helpful but has started coming apart
We purchased this for a trip with our two kids. Honestly it saved us! My sonโs car seat is so heavy and carrying it would have been impossible with our kids and other bags. We have flown with it twice now (there and back) and each time we loved it, super easy and light weight and the ability to pull it instead of wear it is so helpful! I would recommend it for that! The reason I havenโt given it 5 stars is we have noticed that it has already split in some of the seams and feel it should last a lot longer than two uses.

Fit Britax Advocate 70 CS and Great Build
I can confirm this unit will fit the Britax Advocate 70 CS! It was surprisingly comfortable to carry on your back using the built in shoulder straps. The should straps can be concealed inside a flap which closes with Velcro when not in use to prevent damage. I also used to store the manual just in case. The unit rolled easily and stood on its own securely. The material is strong and the entire unit is well stitched and I never felt like it was going to tear or rip. We debated getting this unit because I few reviews stated it would not fit the Advocate 70 CS. The thought was order it and if it doesn't fit return it. We have two Advocate 70 CS's. Again this unit worked great for us. It made things easy for me. I put it on my back while I carried our carryon and rolled two pieces of luggage. Moving the luggage was harder than carrying the Advocate 70 CS on my back. I believe the sturdiness of the base and how well the Advocate fit inside the carrier had allot to do with it. I would highly recommend it.

Not durable
Traveled one way and it was torn upon arrival. Car seat was fine but the bag is not durable.

The best car seat bag
The best investment I've done on car seat bags. People at the airport keep asking me about it. Easy to use, durable, perfect fit for my car seat.

Best Car Seat Travel Bag
I have tried multiple travel bags for car seats over the years, wheeled, backpack etc. this bag is by far the best I have used. Not only did it actually survive 4 flights without damage, it was comfortable to carry on my back and the wheels work well. Travelling with twins means a lot of baggage and this made our last trip so much easier than any others

best purchase
for the life of my britax marathon, this is the best purchase. It made traveling very easy, kept my car seat clean. It's easy to fit the car seat in, has wheels. I was really happy.
