1/18 Scale (4" Tall) Old west Action Figure Sharpshooter

This figure is great for display. It has great detail and so does the accessories. That being said, it is wise to remember these are not necessarily children's toys. It says on the package 25+ adult toy. The joints will be stiff, however they will send you a paper telling how to loosen those up. If you force them they will likely break but if you warm them with warm water they are meant to free up. I put them up as displayed collectibles. That's really what they are and they are great for that! When reviewing you have to keep in mind the context for which they are made for. My biggest complaint is the gun/knife belts are really easy to come apart. If it is crooked on the figure you have to be extremely careful adjusting them or they will come apart. Otherwise I would have given it five stars. Other than that I think they are really nice for displaying. This one is basically the main character from Quigley Down Under. A very nicely done representation too! The rifle and knife/shell belt are highly detailed also! Overall I think Chicken Fried Toys has a nice line of these figures!

I opened the box and as I pulled the toy out the leg came off. It is very cheap plastic.

I love that they modeled the sharpshooter after Quigley. I like the attention to detail, and mobility. I just wish they used the same footpeg size like either Hasbro or Joytoy/AcidRain lines. The scales are great, the detail is pretty good. Even the paint is spot-on. Though the faces need a bit more variation, as it seems the pack with 5 heads are the same heads used in almost all of the figures. The molds used are very close to the Hasbro modern GI Joe figures, interms of articulation and details. From the double jointed knees to the gimble mounted wrists to the ball-joint hips and shoulders, makes for dynamic staging in setting these up.Though if given a choice, I do wish they made a harlot or wild west prostitute figure, or homemaker for the homestead.

My son gave me this review. It broke day one, and the joints were very stiff.
