Are these suitable for making a poster hanger frame ( I am planning two strips of wood with magnets that grip a poster between them ) ?

No .... I ended up throwing them in the bin

Do they draw to eachother? Eg. Can I put one on something and one on another and them magnet to eachother?

I would think so, but they are small magnets, only 0.8 inches and not very thick so it would have to be lightweight stuff.

Do the magets work together (stick together) as well or do they need something metal to work?

If I’m honest I was very disappointed in how magnetic they were. They are not strong enough to hold a small dremmel drill bits so are now just sitting in the bottom drawer.

Can the magnets stick to each other?

Yes they can, they are quite thin though. I've used them to stick photos to my stainless fridge.
