Lighthouse freeze dried sage is the closest to fresh without having to grow it myself. It’s green, not brown like most dried herbs and spices which is also much more visually appealing in my food. It’s mellow yet strong enough that it doesn’t detract from the flavor of any dish. I also love Litehouse basil, oregano, parsley and especially the dill and I add at least one if not more of them in most of my recipes.

I love all of litehouse products! They are so flavorful and last once open. I made homemade pasta with a sage sauce, it was delicious! We live very rural so fresh sage is not happening, this is the next best thing!!

Good Quality, Flavor, and Scent
This is a great product. I love to make a brown-butter sage sauce for raviolis, and this product makes it super easy, and the end result has delicious, fresh sage flavor. I buy this product because my grocery store one has rubbed sage in the spice section (no sage leaves), or the containers of living sage in the produce section. Neither of those suit my needs. This product stores very well in a pantry, maintaining it's wonderful smell and flavor.

Litehouse Spices are the Best: They have Great Flavor! The Sage/Oregano/Basil are All Excellent!
I'm now a repeat customer and I truly Love the Litehouse spice products, every spice I've tried became The Best I've had and now I'm a subscriber.
