Outstanding value for a quality product
These are one of the best bang-for-the-buck things I've bought on Amazon. I used them for my 11 ft. inflatable raft registration numbers. They go on easily enough with some care and planning, stick well, are durable and hold up. It is the second set I bought since I moved from one state to the other and had to remove the old ones which I had for about 4 years. They came off easily enough so they are not permanent but adhere well. They also wrinkle a bit when I fold the boat up but that doesn't seem to hurt them at all and they flatten right back when I pump it up. They still look good. Great product.

Like a feather they move in the wind
I bought these for a newer model Waverunner. I didn't want the plain ole straight line square blocked letters. In my humble opinion I think these are less quality that the Attwood kits Walmart sells and 10 dollars higher. I guess fancier means more expensive and cheaper. These letters are really thin. Make sure the wind is not blowing when you apply them. Like a feather they move in the wind. Some of mine when stamped out almost went through the backing they are on. Made it harder to peal off. I've had those ole vinyl registration numbers on boats for over 20 years. I bet these won't last that long. The company that makes these are making a killing by saving with thin material. The hard plastic pack they come in was almost out of the envelope they mail them in. I'm lucky they were still in it. Cheapo but got to have it to be cool! Like the other guy said on here, I wonder how the water patrol likes these cool cheapo registration numbers? Maybe he won't get his calipers out!!

Not the worst choice, but far from great
This is not the best option, but far from worst out there. When in place the look is great. Sadly these numbers and letters will not stick on anything but a very clean and extremely smooth surface. They will also not stay in place for long under constant weather exposure. The ones on my 19 foot fiberglass boat are still in place and look good two years later. The letters on my smaller plastic pond boat are peeling off as well as the numbers I put on my mail box. So they'll work for you some length of time if your boat is fiberglass and you keep it protected from the weather when not in use. They don't appear to work well on plastic or metal, nor do they handle constant exposure to sun and rain.

Would buy again, see pro's, con's, and suggestions.
I used this in combination with Hardline Products Sticker-On! Decal Application Fluid, 2 Ounces . The combination made this product much easier to use.Pro's- I like the look/style of the letters- I liked cost- You get plenty of extra letters (I used for a jet ski registration)Con's- It is harder to peel off than other stickers without getting finger prints on. But if you bend them back and use a torn off edge of a non-letter section (e.g. pull off a corner and peel off sticker, use the smooth paper as a tool).Overall- I would buy again. Would suggest MFG make a standard tool to peel off or improve process to get stickers off smoother

too many of one and not enough of the other
This is a great looking product and is relatively easy to apply (although peeling the numbers off is a little difficult at first). My only concern is that its effectiveness depends on how many times a given number appears on your boat id. In my case I had three 6's. That meant I needed a total of six of them (since the number has to be on both hulls). The kit only comes with four. Yes it clearly states that but I didn't get my boat ID from the government until after I had ordered the decals so it was an unpleasant surprise. Luckily for me, an upside down 9 looks exactly like a 6. So I was ok, but if you happen to have three 8's or something like that, you'll need two kits.

Some really sharp looking numbers!!
My parents recently got two new jet ski's and the only numbers that the local hardware store had were those ugly black and white ones. I decided to surprise them with these, freshly applied to the jet skis. I bought these because the price was better than the others, and I thought the 'chrome' would look good on the dark blue and silver color on the jet ski's. These are 3 inch, the size you need for boats/watercraft and were very easy to apply. I didn't have any issue with tearing and I haven't noticed any pealing. If something changes, I'll be sure to update the review.

Seem to be solid
I like the style of the letters and they seem to adhere pretty well. Despite that I made a backing plate to put them on and then sealed it with weatherproof Gorilla tape. My last letters always found a way to peel off.

Thin and Cheap
These are very thin, and tear easy. I also had trouble getting the letters to separate from the backing. Make sure the sticky backs don't touch any other surface, or you lose all adhesion. I accidently had a letter touch the surface of another letter as I was pulling it off. It would not stick after that.I hope they hold up.

Excellent decals for the boat
The numbers are easy to install. They look great and stick well. Should last a while. Lots of numbers and letters. 4 sets I believe.

Not what was advertised!
The add and the packaging clearly states that it includes 4 sheets of A-Z and 0-9. What I received was 4 small sheets of AB123.....I am not able to do anything with this, waist of money. Not happy!!
