I have now used this product twice. It is superb. I tested my jam for setting when the thermometer showed the correct temperature and it turned out amazing. Very accurate. Great value for the price paid. I really liked how you could adjust the clip to suit your pot size. No slippage with it. It stayed exactly where I placed it. Very easy to read the temperature on the gauge.

Wasn't too sure which Themometer to buy...... Do I go with the more expensive Brass one or this? Opted for this less expensive one, and it's great. Have used it three times now twice for Toffee and once for Turkish Delight. Easy to use, Stands up in the saucepan and easy to wash!

Exactly as advertised

I used this to make sweets and fudge and worked well. A bit tricky to clean, but you can't leave it till afterwards, I have a mug of hot water to leave it in.

Sturdy and quite robust, this replaces my previous item which I've lost. Seems more sturdy as the thermometer itself doesn't move within the holder so temperature readings seem more accurate.

Easy to attach to different pans although I'd prefer it to be able to go further down than it does for small pans. Fairly easy to read. I've used it when checking the temperature of boiling sugar to be used in meringue.

I bought this for fudge making. Been using soft ball method up till now and thought a thermometer would be more accurate. Wrong. It wouldn't reach the appropriate temp and wouldn't go above 110 C. Even tried cooking the fudge 3 times longer than I would for the soft ball method just to try to get the temp up, and the result was spoiled fudge. I attempted to return the item and was sent round and round in circles trying to get it returned and kept getting sent back to the same page. The contact us link took me right back to the beginning. If I could have contacted the seller perhaps this bad review could have been avoided. There were no contact details. I made peanut brittle for the first time, using this thermometer. It's a good large size, easy to read, easy to clean and clips on the side of the pot. Much nicer than the old glass tube type thermometers. Very happy with it.

Great item, could use larger print to be easier to read.
