Scotte Tobacco Pipe Handmade Ebony Wood Root Smoking Pipe Gift Box and Accessories

I had my first bowl on this pipe. I wanted to try it. I said if anything I could use it as an incense holder. I didn't think I would like the pipe as much as I did. I made my own blend as I have allergies towards nicotine, and I've been around Tabacco cigar smoke and couldn't speak the next day. I made a blend of herb's I've heard other pipe smoker's smoke. So, it's mug wart, saint john's wart, sage, peppermint, raspberry leaf and nettle leaf. It's a very nice blend. I love that with pipe smoking you're not inhaling the smoke through your lungs. Really you're just keeping the pipe going. But the pipe itself is a really nice set. It comes with everything you need to smoke except the blend. But I had all that laying around my house. It's a nice starter set for those who don't want to sink a lot of money into it because they're just trying it out for the first time. I highly recommend this one because it also comes with 3 different chambers to snazz up the look of the pipe if you want to switch it out. It comes with black, blue-green, and white. I recommend buying extra cleaning straws just in case you like it like I do as it only comes with about 3 of them. I didn't use any of the screens or anything. Muttonchop pipe smoker on YouTube said he just likes the pipe and nothing else. I agree with him. I didn't use anything on my first pipe. I didn't want to get into the filters and screens and sink a whole bunch of money into this. After all, all the old timers who smoke pipe never used any of that stuff because you're not smoking it like you smoke a cigar, or cigarette. All in all, this is exceptionally giftable weather you're using it for a prop or you want to try the real thing.

Satisfied with product solution

This for me is an inexpensive short term smoking pipe set/kit. It tends to last me around 6 months before the mouthpiece (plastic stem) breaks off to the point it is no longer useful. I would recommend Scotte to include an extra stem mouthpiece in the set/kit and also offer replacement stems. The replacements I bought on Ebay don't fit to the bowl. Your current price point of $19.99 is just right and fair price for me. I probably won't buy anymore if price increase much.

My father is a pipe guy.. Indoor-outdoors he's on the go even in his older age, pipe in pocket or hand.. But when his best pipe fell to the sidewalk an cracked he was in a bad spot.. I got his this as a birthday gift and he had been using it as a reading friend.. Now it's his "buddy" He really likes it alot. Mother says he takes it with him every place now.. I see him with it and he enjoys the fact he can enjoy a nice smoke, holding in his hand or mouth even with no issue.. Personally I like a longer stem but liked the color of the wood and the shape. He loves the look too but he told me it's the balance, its the hold in your hand and not be afraid to do so even if its warm.. So I say good as a gift for a pipe guy.. I didn't rate the easy to clean because my Father cleans his pipes all the time, and to be fair if it had any issue at all he would not have used it, he would have parked it on the mantel in his office next to way more expensive ones he "will never smoke again" let's be honest here.. It works, looks good, is balanced well, and he loves it.. So 5 stars I call that a win !

Avid cigar smoker here, I recycle clipped cigar ends into pipe tobacco to save money and reduce waste. I was skeptical of the quality at the time of purchase, but this pipe kit has blown me away. The pipe itself is made of genuine wood with a real metal ring around the mouthpiece, as described. The kit comes with many useful tools that, even though may be thin and flimsy, offer an outstanding value for only $20. One of the carbon filters broke during shipping and bits were all inside the case, but was cleaned up and fixed with ease. Overall, this pipe is a great investment for those new to smoking tobacco pipes. Thanks!

I love this pipe. It's shape feels wonderful in my hand. It has a smooth finish. There are more accessories than I can use, but the pipe tool is terrific.

Not really worth the money. The inline filters are just a terrible design. Good luck trying to clean out any clogs if you do purchase this. I ended up having to boil it which only partially cleared it out.

Sometimes being born not smart YouTube can help with cleaning smoking fixing tutorials, it works for me cutting down from 28 cigarettes a day to 7-11 pipe fills a day which is 16 cigarettes a day or less

Ich bin passionierter Pfeifenraucher und besitze viele Pfeifen von namhaften Herstellern: Scottie, Rovera, Jean Claude, Aldo Morelli, Pasadore etc. Diese Chinapfeife war mal ein Versuch, für den Preis konnte man nichts falsch machen. Zuerst mussten einige Nacharbeiten erledigt werden: die Bohrung in den Pfeifenkopf korespondierte nicht mit der Holmbohrung für das Mundstück, sie ging schräg davon ab und musste etwas aufgebohrt werden, damit der Rauch überhaubt in das Mundstück gelangen konnte. Die Mundstückbohrung im Holm war nicht tief genug, der Filter saß auf deren Boden auf und war so unwirksam, sie musste deshalb ca. 5...6 mm tiefer gebohrt werden. Nach diesen "Nacharbeiten" konnte die Pfeife nun benutzt werden. Der Pfeifenkopf aus Ebenholz war anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da wesentlich schwerer als Bruyere und natürlich nicht so schön gemasert, hat aber den großen Vorteil, daß er gegen Ausbrennen wesentlich unempfindlicher ist. Anfangs zeigte sich an der Vorderseite des Pfeifenkopfes ein feiner ca. 1 cm langer Riss, der aber nach 2...3 Pfeifen spurlos verschwand. Das Acrylmundstück ist, im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Pfeifen, weicher und lässt sich so sehr angenehm rauchen. Alles in allem, nach einigen Nacharbeiten eine schöne Pfeife, die ich mittlerweile sehr gerne benutze. Sehr erfreut war ich über das im Lieferumfang enthaltene umfangreiche Zubehör.
