Great little device I've enjoyed using and doesn't seem to die being left in the pot unlike standard moisture metres. The main benefit of this device is the easy to use app. Only downside is that the app measures light in the wrong measurement or present it wrong different in the app on different pages (mmol instead of LUX) and the measurement is extremely low even in direct sunlight, leading me to believe that it isn't functioning correctly.

Recommend app does not load in IOS 14.4.2 on my iPhone XS. It’s seems to crash at splash screen while loading and does not get as far as login. Works ok on old iPad Air though. Email to app developer [email protected] is undeliverable, so a timely update seems unlikely. I’ve found an alternative app called ‘plant monitor’ which seems to work fine though so find one that works for you before you purchase

This product is 100% reliant on the app working. For me it worked for the first week or so and since then I haven’t been able to use it at all as the app is unresponsive, doesn’t let me login and doesn’t recognise the devices. You also can’t contact app support. So basically I wasted my money on two of these and can’t use them at all.

Wooow first look when I received this beautiful device, I was really amazed by the packing it came securely in and so easy to use booklet to help installing app and setting up the app. With so many plants in catalogue to choose from, and not to be worried if you don’t find one as you can always choose the closest, I am tempted to purchase more to get a good feedback and accurate data for my plants needs. Highly recommend item and very helpful seller.

Unable to pair device to my phone. Instructions are poor. Battery seems flat. Not very easy to use or good value for money.

I was hesitant to believe this would work but am fairly impressed with it so far. I mainly wanted it for moisture levels which after testing on various plants it does seem accurate. But it also gives interesting feedback on light and soil nutrients; the latter might not be completely accurate but in general I find it enlightening. Cannot comment on durability as haven’t had it longs the app lets you switch it from plant to plant and gives feedback about each species.

This is a great little tool for tracking your plants health and looking after them. My only issue is with the advertising, it implies you have to get a monitor per plant when actually you can register each plant and move the proble from plant to plant.

I have 3 of these now, with the next 3 in my basket for next month. I'm using a raspberry Pi with its builtin bluetooth to collect data from my sensors every few minutes. I did have a minor issue with one of the sensors, but had immediate support from the supplier which resolved that.

Non sono mai stato bravo con le piante... ho due piante in casa che mi ricordavo di dargli da bere quando vedevo le foglie distese a terra e poi periodicamente delle piantine di menta e/o basilico in poggiolo, che regolarmente duravano al massimo il tempo di una singola pasta al pomodoro e un mojito... Così ho voluto provare con dei sensori che mi tempestassero di notifiche finché non davo da bere a quelle povere piante: ha funzionato!! Come si può vedere dalla prima foto, dopo quasi 15 anni lo spatifillo mi ha dato un fiore! Sono stato fin commosso di vederlo.. non mi ricordavo nemmeno facesse dei fiori. Ed anche il basilico e la menta in poggiolo son durate molto più del solito. L'installazione è piuttosto semplice: basta scaricare l'app Flower Care, avvicinarsi con lo smartphone al sensore e configurarlo, indicandogli qual'è la pianta che deve monitorare: questo perché dal database riesce a recuperare quali sono le condizioni ideali per la pianta (nutrimento del terreno, luminosità, umidità del terreno), così da poter creare delle notifiche personalizzate per quella specifica pianta. Poi ho ho voluto far uno step aggiuntivo e configurarli anche con il controller demotico Homey, cuore della mia smart home: in questo modo posso sia riutilizzare i sensori per eventuali altri scenari (ad esempio accendere le luci in poggiolo quando la luminosità rilevata dal sensore nel vaso di basilico scende sotto una certa soglia, piuttosto che allestire un sistema di irrigazione automatico quando l'umidità del terreno è troppo bassa), sia ricevere notifiche e monitorare lo stato delle piante anche quando sono via, accedendo da remoto al sistema. Eh sì, perché essendo i sensori Bluetooth LE, normalmente ci si può connettere solamente a distanza ravvicinata e quindi non è possibile il monitoraggio remoto. A meno appunto di configurarli in un sistema he invece lo è, come appunto Homey, piuttosto che OpenHab, Home Assistant, ed altri compatibili. Sono molto soddisfatto ed infatti ne ho comprati altri per tutte le piante che ho. Se un giorno dovessi acquistare una pianta in più, sarà sicuramente monitorata da uno di questi sensori.

Definitivamente tendría uno para cada planta que tengo en casa, si no fuera por el precio. Lo cual no me parece desorbitado teniendo en cuenta la calidad del instrumento. Mide la humedad fertilidad y el sol. Puedes leer estas indicaciones a través de la app. Además eliges la planta de una larga lista para que la app te aconseje cómo y cuando debes regar o fertilizar así como la cantidad de luz que necesita la planta en questión. Se conecta vía bluetooth. Lleva una pila de botón, lo cual sorprende teniendo en cuenta lo mucho que dura. Una herramienta muy útil.

J’ai acheté ce produit pour surveiller des plantes intérieures et extérieures telles qu’une Alocasia Zebrina, un jasmin er un érable japonais que je viens de replanter. La sonde est facile à installer, l’application Flower Care très simple à trouver et à associer avec la sonde. Le mode d’emploi est en Français. La bibliothèque des plantes contient celles dont j’ai besoin ou à défaut, une espèce dont les caractéristiques sont similaires. Il faut chercher le nom originel de l’espèce et non son appellation commune (ex : jasminum floridum versus « jasmin » et comme il y a une dizaine de variétés, il faut trouver la bonne ou s’en rapprocher...et là par contre, les caractéristiques Détaillées des plantes sont en anglais mais cela ne me dérange pas). Après quelques jours, l’utilisation de l’application pour suivre l’évolution de l’humidité, le taux de fertilité du sol, la température ou encore l’ensoleillement est plutôt rassurante : les valeurs évoluent bien à la hausse et à la baisse en fonction des arrosages ; les indicateurs situent les besoins de la plante dans une plage variable avec des mini maxi ; les graphes illustrants l’historique sont lisibles. Seul bémol maintenant : le fait de devoir changer la sonde en fonction de la plante à surveiller...en fait, je crois qu’il est plus simple d’en acheter plusieurs, de les laisser dans les pots à surveiller avec leurs plantes...et non de les changer de pot en pot...bon c’est pour se simplifier la vie...mais il faut bien commencer par en tester un pour se rendre compte que c’est vraiment utile, surtout lorsqu’on débute avec des plantes qui ont des besoins d’humidité plus importants et qui nécessitent de les suivre, surtout après un rempotage ou pour se familiariser avec...

Design und Verpackung vom Sensor sind hervorragend. Verbindung zwischen App und Sensor via Facebook oder Google Account hat bei mir nicht funktioniert. Nun gut, habe ich mich eben bei der chinesischen Plattform angemeldet, jetzt funktioniert es reibungslos. Ich verwende den Pflanzensensor für eine chinesische Lorbeerfeige da aufgrund meines schwarzen Daumens gerade das Gießen immer eine Herausforderung darstellt. Bisher hat alles bestens geklappt und die Werte z.B. Temperatur sind sehr genau. Ein geiles Smart Home Gadgets für Leute, die keinen Plan bei Pflanzen haben. An der deutschen Übersetzung der App müssen sie allerdings noch arbeiten, die ist teilweise grenzwertig.
