Sam isn’t at all looking forward to his 23rd birthday—why would he want to celebrate another year of grueling, boring office work and striking out in dating? He hates his physique, and he can hardly even think about dating anyway, what with his confusing feelings for his best (straight) friend Mitchell. What a rollercoaster ride!
What an "Emotional" ride. There was such an excellent "logical" progression of this story that you couldn't help but feel locked into the feelinds Sammy and Mitchie had for each other. Yeah for "best friends forever."

Sweet, but on the mild side
This is the first Alyson Belle story I've read that was quite this tame. It has no explicit content at all, the scenes fading out before anything happens. There's some detail about his new body, but no exploration of its pleasures. There's been some issue lately of stories here being categorized as romance or not, so this may a reaction to that. It is a rather nice swap tale otherwise, though their friend Lindsay seems a bit superfluous, as she doesn't really help or instruct him, as the girl in these stories usually does. I still prefer the more adult content of her other work, but worth a look anyway.

Fine romance
This is a good magical gender transformation romance. I can't really call it erotica, but in the romance department it works quite well. I got hooked by the story, and there is some element of suspense towards the end. Like many of Alyson's stories, I wish it was a bit longer. I would have liked more of a follow up into the HEA. All in all, I enjoyed it very much.

A nice well written story that does not need it miss the overt sex found in others.Basically a modern fairy tale.
