Playing Card Divination for Beginners: Fortune Telling with Ordinary Cards Paperback – January 8, 2016

Very informative book on fortune telling with ordinary cards. In depth but simple to understand explanation of each card, spreads, suits etc. Paperback but sturdy. I am glad I bought it, it is going to be helpful learning fortune telling with cards.

Lurking on comments of several different Playing Card Divination books, I found this book. I almost didn’t buy it because the Kindle Sample didn’t have enough to judge if the instruction would be good or not (the sample mostly contained playing card history). But the comments were really good, so I took a chance. Book is GREAT. Simple. Direct. Couldn’t ask for a better book.

This is just wonderful. Comprehensive. Thorough. Entertaining. Informative. Complete. A bargain. Shall I go on? I could.This was a pleasure to read.

I love Richard Webster’s work. This book has his personality in it 100% his instructions are direct and clear. Great if your just starting out as well.

This book has the most useful and insightful card definitions that I have ever seen. These card definitions will beat any other, including the tarot, hands down. Tarot card definitions exist to describe the cards. How can a collection of descriptions of card pictures ever compete with a set of card definitions that were created to achieve maximum oracular excellence?

This is a good book to give someone who plays bridge or poker who might be interested in the origins of the cards that were originated from the Tarot and can be used as such. Do a "reading" with your bridge partner.

There are books cheaper with the same knowledge. This author just had different ways to arrange the cards. Every author has different meanings. This is t to much for this book!!!

The book is a great read but some of the thing are hard to understand like breaking down each card telling what it is and shown a picture of it .

Explica las cosas de forma sencilla. Como en todos los libros de este tipo informa de tipos de tiradas y explica las cartas una a una. A mí me ha gustado mucho. Por cierto, describe todas las cartas, no sólo las 32 usuales en este tipo de juegos, sino todas, los 2,3,4...

Absolutely fantastic book on Cartomancy. Richards card meanings differ from others you read online but I much prefer his meanings. When reading it I would do practice readings for people I knew and used his meanings and other meanings, and his meanings always seemed to fit better.The book is very easy to read and I really like his main spread that he uses throughout the book without countless examples.It takes a few months to learn the meanings. I used Harry Loraynes memory aids for playing cards and linked them to the general meaning of the cards and that helped. E.g 4 of Clubs = Core = Imagine someone helping you by giving you an apple = "you'll receive help from others when needed, even when reluctant to ask for help"

Love this book, I use it often as a daily tool for myself and others!
