If you already have a container or a bottle then this is the kit for you. It has all you need to build your own terrarium, stones, deactivated charcoal, moss and earth. Even comes with a tool to help please it all, (well a wine cork in a stick - but it works a treat!). Buying the ingredients separately was totally impractical, but this kit has just enough for an average size terrarium at a reasonable price. I will definitely buy another as I have another container that needs to become a terrarium. Would highly recommend!

Lovely little terrarium set. I am a beginner so just want i needed. Definitely will buy again as have the itch to make more 🥰 comes with everything you need apart from plants and glass which you can find anywhere depending on your vibe.

Not a bad kit but gets quite pricey to buy everything you need as plants and jar not included. As others have mentioned, would be nice to have printed instructions. They are on the website but I was hoping for an activity with my son away from screens

Very cute set, bought for a friend and supplemented it with some extra soil and perlite, larger rocks, as well as the plants needed for the terrarium. You can see from product pics and other reviews what's in it, it's fine for a small terrarium but for a medium/large one you will need to add to it, as others have said. Still, the packaging and instructions/tools etc make it worthwhile as part of a gift even if it needs supplementing. I bought it on special offer for £5, which made it a no-brainer, but probably wouldn't for £9+.

I was looking for a kit that contained everything for a terrarium container I already had. This doesn't come with a container or plants, but was exactly what I was looking for, there are even little extras like a cork and paintbrush for neatening it all up. I would definitely buy again for future projects. The only thing I would add is that I had to Google instructions as to which to layer first etc., but that was very easy to do, and the bags were labelled clearly, so I'm pleased with it all!

I never write reviews but I feel as if I got a bit mugged off. Not as pictured, much smaller, paint brush is laughable, not like in picture at all, very VERY thin brush.
