I am trying to steer my "purse habit" toward classic (as opposed to trendy) pieces and this one in black fits the bill. The leather is soft, pebbled, and very light weight. The interior is classic Kate - whimsical pattern that is light enough you can see what you are looking for. I would describe this bag as mid-large sized (which is how I like my bags). My full sized checkbook wallet, cosmetics case, keys, and misc. accouterments sit side by side on the bottom (I could probably add my full sized iPad or kindle with no problem; however, they are tall enough that the bag wouldn't "slouch" like a hobo should). I do have two areas where the bag could be improved for my needs - I wish the short handle were just an inch or two longer; it would sit on my shoulder that way (right now doing this places the bag right under my armpit and could never be done if I were wearing a coat). I also wish that the long strap provided a few more holes so I could make it shorter; the shortest length is still a bit too long for a "shoulder bag" (and I'm 5'7" with a long torso); if I could do this I wouldn't care that the top handle is strictly for carrying by hand. All in all, a high quality bag that I'm sure I will carry for several seasons.

Great bag! I needed an everyday bag that would go with anything and could carry the essentials for a mom with young kids. This bag is great quality (the leather smell is amazing) and holds a large wallet, makeup bag, diaper changing pad with wipes, and a small bag with extra underwear/pants for 2 kiddos.... without losing the slouch shape. Love this bag!

Absolutely love this purse. Nice leather. It does fill up quickly with the amount of things I carry around in my purse, but that just encourages me to clean it out more often. Color is gorg and I always get compliments when I use.

Purse was as described. My only issue is the strap is slightly shorter than I was expecting.
