I picked this up to try on my black, new-to-me 2019 Toyota Sequoia, and overall I’ve been really impressed. I prefer to detail my vehicles myself whenever possible because I’ve seen firsthand what automated car washes can do to paint—and I’m also seriously considering starting a mobile detailing business, so I’m testing products with a much more critical eye. This ceramic wax applies easily and delivers a noticeable improvement in gloss and reflectivity, especially on black paint. It leaves the surface looking clean, crisp, and very reflective without that cloudy look some sealants can leave behind. Water beading is excellent, and after application, the truck stayed looking cleaner longer between washes, which is exactly what I want from a product like this. Application is straightforward, but less really is more. Small sections work best, and while it buffs off well by hand, I do think the results would have been even better—and removal easier—with a machine polisher or buffer. That’s not a knock on the product, just a realistic observation. With a buffer, I think this would produce truly next-level, professional-grade results. What I appreciate most is how clear and even the finish looks. It enhances the paint rather than masking it, and the durability seems solid for a spray-on ceramic product. Given how little product you need per application, it also feels very economical. For anyone who enjoys maintaining their own vehicle, wants to avoid harsh car washes, or is learning the detailing process with an eye toward professional work, this is an excellent product to have in your lineup. I’ll definitely keep using it—and it’s earned a spot as part of my ongoing product testing as I sharpen my detailing skills.

(Update at the bottom) Just got it, saw the product testing on the “Project Farm” YouTube channel. They do amazing scientific testing and this one did great so I can’t wait to use it. just put this on my Highlander and so far I’m very impressed. I started with a washed car and then cay bared with a synthetic clay bar (so much easier than a standard clay bar). Then dried completely. Prep took about 1 hr. Then I worked with the griot’s from the top down. I know the instructions said use one side of a microfiber cloth to apply and one to buff then replay with a new cloth when saturated but after a short time I found it was easier to use one towel to apply and one to buff worked better. I replaced the buffing towel about every panel because I have plenty of towels, I only replaced the application towel when I felt it might be dirty. I think this helped use less product. It was so easy to apply, felt just like applying spray wax just buff with a light touch to shine without removing a lot of the product. When I covered the whole vehicle I lightly went over the vehicle with a fresh soft microfiber towel to make sure I didn’t miss any haze although I didn’t really notice any but I was working in my garage in the winter so I haven’t seen it in the sunlight yet. After 24 hrs I applied a second coat as recommended in the instructions. (Pictures are after the first coat). My paint is metallic grey and was already shiny but I was amazed by how clear and reflective the surface became after the 3 in 1 spray was applied. As you can see in the picture the paint is like a mirror reflecting everything around it, electrical cords, table saw, doors, the garage doors opener, and lawn mower. So shiny. I still have about an inch of spray in the bottle. The 2nd coat seemed to use less and went on faster. The first coat took about 1 1/2 hrs and the 2nd coat took about 45 min and used less spray, it could be that I just got better at applying it but there it is. Hope this helped Update: 12 Aug 2026, it has been well over a year since I applied two coats of Griot’s 3 in 1 spray ceramic WAX. I am so impressed. I have not had to do a full wash all year. I just spray off the dust/ road grime and it rolled off the ceramic coating. Water STILL beads up so as long as you dry the vehicle off you won’t get spots. (Ne picture added)

This has become my go-to product after washing my car. The biggest reason is how easy it is to use. A light spray, spread it with a microfiber towel, buff it off, and you’re done. There’s no complicated application process, long cure time, or messy residue to deal with. The finish is excellent. It leaves the paint noticeably slick and glossy, and water beads up extremely well afterward. I also like the versatility because I can use it as part of a full detail or quickly apply it after a maintenance wash when I don’t want to spend hours on the car. Application is fast, the sprayer distributes the product evenly without leaking, and a little goes a long way. As long as you don’t overapply it, removal is effortless and I’ve had no issues with streaking or a greasy finish. I’ve used several Griot’s Garage products and the quality is consistently excellent. For the amount of protection and shine you get with so little effort, this is absolutely worth the money. If you want ceramic-style protection without turning detailing your car into an all-day project, this is about as easy as it gets. Five stars.

It is easy to use and looks great for a couple of days. I have to keep applying to get a nice finish. I will recommend this product for seniors that cannot stand and buff their cars for hours, but want a nice paint finish and shine. If i can get it to last, I will update this review.

I've tried plenty of spray waxes and ceramic coatings over the years, and Griot's Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax has earned a permanent spot in my detailing arsenal. Application couldn't be simpler, a light mist per panel, spread with one microfiber towel, buff with a second and you're done. No streaking, no hazing. The paint comes out incredibly slick and smooth to the touch, almost glass-like, and the depth of shine it pulls out of the finish genuinely surprised me. Dark colors especially pop with a wet, just-detailed look that holds up well between washes. What sets this product apart is its versatility. True to the 3-in-1 name, I used it on painted surfaces, wheels, and the plastic and rubber trim without worrying about white residue or staining a huge time saver compared to separate products for each surface. On larger vehicles like full size trucks and RVs, that matters a lot; covering that much square footage with a traditional paste wax would take an entire weekend, but this spray had everything coated in a fraction of the time. The water beading afterward is exactly what you want from a SiO2 product: tight, uniform beads that sheet right off, which makes subsequent washes noticeably easier since dirt and grime don't bond to the surface the way they do on unprotected paint. For the price, the protection-to-effort ratio here is hard to beat. It's not going to replace a professional multi-year ceramic coating, but as a maintainable, easy-to-apply layer of real SiO2 protection that you can refresh in an afternoon, it delivers everything it promises. The bottle goes a long way too a little product covers a lot of surface. If you're looking for that smooth, glossy, freshly detailed finish without the labor of traditional waxing, this is the one to buy. Five stars, and I'll be purchasing again when this bottle finally runs out. Very happy with this product.

I’m new to detailing and just a DIYer but this ceramic coat lasts way longer than I expected given how easy it is to apply. Great protection, smells nice, makes my car look fantastic. Less is more with this product, you can always come back with a second coat, and so long as you follow the instructions this product is awesome.

I've been using Griot's 3-1 Ceramic spray for a few years now and I love it. It applies very easily with no smearing or haze. It seems to last quite a while. Even after a long New England winter, it will still bead very nicely after the first springtime wash. Griot's Garage makes a lot of great products. I highly recommend giving their stuff a try!

It streaks a little, but I use my power buffer with the wall pad and it came out beautiful

I bought this Groits because an American on YouTube reviewed 12 ceramic coatings and Groits came up tops. And I'm very happy, it beads like nothing else. I've used it on two large cars and a caravan front and still have 1/2 a bottle left. It wasn't available in Australia at the time but soon after I purchased it became available at Autobarn for even less than I paid. My brother bought it too, he's as impressed as me. It works. Our cars are stored undercover and I polished them 6 months ago, the beading is still extreme.

I watched the review on project farm on utube, it really works a treat.
