I saved a pair of boots I love which shoe repair had pronounced dead by cutting out the heel pattern and gluing them on. They work like a charm!!

These heel cups are very tough and you get a decent amount for the price. Be careful trimming these- I ended up cutting by thumb trimming these to size. Shoe glue does a great job to attaching these to worn-out soles so long as the surfaces are clean and sanded. You can stack these up if you want more of a lift or just need a thicker heel. Don't use too much glue, and the excess can damage leather and/or stick your shoes to the floor.

I lost the rubber pad on the bottom of my boot heel...this was easy to cut with scissors. I traced my heel on the edge of product with pen and cut slightly inside the mark. Laid it out and then trimmed again where needed. I had to use a semi-course file to shape a bit better. I then used E-6000 glue to secure pad to heel. There were holes in the heel where original pad snapped in place, so I filled with glue then tapped tiny finish nails into those holes to give extra strength to secure. Hoping it will hold up! I won't be wearing these to a biker rodeo again...walking in rocks and gravel. *be sure to get the proper thickness if you're matching your other shoe! These were PERFECT for mine!

These are perfect, they are genuine rubber heel replacements. Exactly what I needed. They are huge; for a large block heel on a woman's shoe I cut 2 heel replacements from one with the 2nd one left over for the future. They are heavy and regular heel thickness; fairly heavy utility scissors are needed to cut them to size. You must figure out which kind of glue and use your own. All I had at the time was a glue gun, it worked quite well.

Do not recommend. They are bigger than expected and needed to cut. I have a heel cap that fell off and wanted to fix the shoe. The shoes ended up feeling uneven. Did not work for what I needed.

Used to reinforce the heel for a black pair of black men's Stan Smith sneakers. I tired multiple heels with self adhesive/nails, and they all came off within a couple months. These are great: I have worn these every day for over a year and they have held up extremely well. Measured and cut using heavy duty scissors. The key is using the right adhesive: I used 3M Scotch-Weld Plastic & Rubber Instant Adhesive PR40, which works really well. I prefer this over Shoe Glue and others.

Soles material was sturdy and suitable. for use. Good thickness without being bulky. Materials was relatively easy to cut to size. Glued in place with shoe repair product . - Let set overnight. Good to go !!

Works and easy

Worked great to repair my beloved leather boots. I just traced the outline of the old one and cut it with some sharp scissors no problem. I used some dollar store contact cement to apply them. Good as new and walked in lots of wet weather no problem.
