This is perlite, and it works just like perlite. I like that it comes in 3 manageable bags, though there are cheaper giant bags of perlite on the market. I also like that it has fertilizer in it as well. I am using the material to add loft and space to my soil in potting containers. I've dug up dirt from the forest, but I don't want it to compact down in my containers.

This perlite makes such a big difference for potted plants. It helps add a significant amount of drainage to avoid root rot. And it lasts!!

Excellent deal for the amount you get. It’s perlite, so try not to toss it about too much because the dust kicks up easily. Plant purists like dunk on miracle grow products but all my 25+ plants have done excellent with their whole line.

Great price for 3 bags and the bag sizes are pretty nice size as well, however the perlite is very small I was hoping they be a bit bigger than they are. Hoping its just the first bag I opened. It'll still work in my soil and for propping just thought it be bigger chunks than what it is.

This is my go-to Perlite. I have a lot of succulents and use this to add to potting soil when planting. It is just the right consistency with minimal white dust flying around when I am scooping it out. (Hardly any dust actually) This was a good price for 2 bags, better than the big box store, but I see it has gone up in price since I purchased it. I guess hasn't everything?? I recommend this not only because it is practically dust-free, but it holds up for a long time. When I am re-potting my plants, the perlite is still there in the mix, keeping the soil from getting too moist. Five stars!

I love this brand and the fact I got 2 bags for the price of one was a big win. I use it to mix with my potting soil . Makes for better breathing in the potting soil for drainage.

Great price for 2 bags. Helps dirt from packing. Its great for all house plants.

Perlite makes your indoor plants soil mix chunky and its good for passing air through soil.. I highly recommend it..
