HaywardSPX3200B3 Diffuser Replacement for Select Hayward Tristar and Ecostar Pump

My impeller, diffuser & seal plate were a little over 4 years old (4 years and 2 months). When I rebuilt my pump (replacing the variable speed motor with a 2-speed motor), i heard a sound coming from the pump. A way to describe the sound was similar to the kind you'd hear if a playing card was attached to the spokes of a bicycle wheel, with the pitch changing depending on how fast/slow you rode the bike.I knew I had to replace the impeller, and I took a closer look at the diffuser and noticed a lot of small cracks on the side that shrouds the impeller. Figuring if I had to replace the impeller, replacing the diffuser was something I should also do.The old diffuser looked the same as the new diffuserNOTE: The pump worked flawlessly with the original parts as far as running water through the filter, it's just that the noise that I heard was unnatural and i suspect putting wear grooves in the impeller even faster.

Product was as advertised and arrived early. Highly recommended seller.

Our original diffuser broke into two pieces and was impeding the impeller from moving. This original equipment part replaced the broken one perfectly and our pump is running again with no issues.

This item also includes the impeller wear ring part number SPX3021R.Quality O.E. piece. No complaints except wish the listing was more specific.

Old part was warped because of overheating, new fits perfectly and improved water flow. Arrived on time.
