replaced the broken one quickly and easily. Was a perfect match as it was exactly as described in the listing.

These are - ok.What I could not appreciate from the advertisement picture was the way that the bracket would orientate off the rail.These looked similar to brackets that had a round neck which could rotate within the attachment bracket.This product has flat sides, which only support a perpendicular attachment.This is great for a horizontal hallway wall railing.I used it in a stairwell, which still works - but, the other brackets are vertical to gravity.This one bracket is offset to the rail.All in all it's a don't care - unless, one tends toward the obsessive compulsive.The bracket seems well made.I got it to work for my application.I was hoping that it would have covered the former brackets foot print.Sometimes ya gotta roll with the punches.

Great product, I try to look for products which are made in the USA, our great country, and avoid as much as possible products which are made in other countries of origin. USA products are superior and made to last. This product is made in America (that's what it says on the package). Buy American made and support America.

Very good bracket for the price. DO NOT USE THE SCREWS. I figured I would try one, and the head snapped off. Should have known better. Had to re-position the bracket, but no big deal. I didn't buy this (set) for the screws, I was only interested in the bracket, hence the five stars. I already expected the screws to be weak. ( I have bazillions of screws, it was not a problem. )

'Product was as expected. However, what was shipped was in a package that had been opened and some of the screws had been removed causing me to have to scramble-around trying to locate suitable replacement screws that sort-of matched what was supposed to have been included. When the stock picker pulled this package for shipment, s/he could have readily seen the package had been opened (this is nothing that happened in shipment) and could have easily counted the parts to determine whether everything was in there . . . . . . .

Screw head broke off with barely any pressure applied…

These special brackets were the ones that I needed to find on line to fix my railing and I have to say that they are well made, strong and easy to install. I would definitely buy them again.

In a World of crazy expensive stuff this simple design works just great. I wish they made it in brass as the cheap finish doesn't last well. What can I say, it's a remove and replace World.

the under the rail brackets fit at one angle. not like other rail brackets that fit better to the angle of the railing. screws are thinner so if you have preexisting holes that you are using then the screws may be too thin.

Exact match for rail in 50 year old house. 2 out of 3 originals had broken from wear and tear over the years. 4 peices (instead of the originally placed 3). Unable to get these at big box stores, they carry bigger ones with a different shape.

Screws too soft, had to purchase different sets to get the job done.
