Is it possible to get the nylon rope shorter

To do that I put a second anchor in my ceiling and then attached the rope to that and then threaded through my original anchor and then it was like having a shorter rope so that worked.

Does the pulley system attach to the ceiling? If so will it work on finished ceiling?

The pulley has a swivel-ring on it to attach it to a horizontal anchor via a carabiner. There's not a direct way to attach it to a flat surface like a ceiling

Whats the length of the cable?

I'm not sure of the length, I did return this as it was not heavy duty enough for me
